Alert Creation for disk Space monitoring for each drive separately

Hi All,

There is a requirement to create alerts to monitor the disk space utilization separately and trigger the alert based on the disk utilization for both windows and linux servers.

"The used space on C/D/E/F drive of server reaching 75% & 85 % respectively."

Currently the alert is configured based on total volume, hence we are facing the below issue.

The alerts and tickets created are related to the 'Low Disk Space' on the server. This is being generated because of some small disks on the server that get filled pretty quickly even though there is more than enough space in the library of which these disks are part of.

Hence, we need to create alerts separately for each drive in both windows and linux servers. If anyone has a solution, it would be of great help!

You can try with this condition,

Node Domain(based on the custom property) is equal to Windows and Volume type is equal to Fixed disk.

Add one more condition to specify the threshold as volume percent greater than 75 or 85.

The way I always handled this was to set my alert up to trigger when the warning or critical threshold values have been reached. Then I adjust the warning and critical values as necessary. Small drives might need more cushion than big drives, or certain types of drives you just disable their threshold completely because you dont want to alert on them.

We have already configured the alert using this condition. But it is considering the whole volume and not separate disk.
