NetPath multi-site deployment

We are trying to get NetPath deployed across campus in critical areas to run testing of the network from the user's perspective and in several public areas. Has anyone tried do this in their environment? What type of hardware did you use? We are deploying similar items (Cape Sensors), which work well, but they are hardened Linux systems. We would like to do something similar with Windows and NetPath.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Honestly, you can use enduser workstations to run netpath. Just have a dedicated one in each location, or one that is most likely on and that you have some level of control over. Windows kiosks may be another option if you have them setup. Most of the time I have seen them locked down, and controlled by IT.

We use a server at each remote location, as we were already monitoring them with SAM and an agent, it made sense to use the same servers as a Netpath endpoint.

Curious which route you went but I can echo what others have stated already. We used either our local site's domain controller or another server with enough memory to point back to our core for the WAN to WAN monitoring that we wanted. So far its been insighful but due to the use of ICMP metrics in the packet loss calculations it has been frustrating trying to validate.
