Get the latest news about SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)
Really hoping someone will be able to assist us here or maybe someone has already accomplished this. Any help would be very much appreciated!! I am looking for a way to create an "Active Alert," to alert our organization immediately if any of our nodes see traffic traversing particular ports. This can be either by Port…
Can someone tell me how to check this? The flows per second math does not seem to correspond what I expect the DB size to be. Is there somewhere in the UI I can check this should there be a setting? Thanks!
If you'd like to get on a call with UX to show us what you're doing with it--particularly with alerts--reach out to me privately via regular email at kellie.mecham@solarwinds.com and let's set up some time!

Is it fine if NTA flow Storage database SQL version and Orion Database SQL version will be different?? Or is it necessary that both database SQL version should be same?
I was wondering if anybody has setup Avaya 5520s or 4850s to be Netflow enabled? If you know any of the CMD that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ian
I know NTA requires NPM to run, but if your main requirement is working with Flow data, is the license size driven purely by the number of nodes? So if I had 50 devices (firewalls / routers) which I wanted to take flow data from, they would be covered by an SL100? Obviously the number of volumes and interfaces you could…
