Executive Capacity Summary and Capacity Runout Report by Storage Arrays.
Just a quick report to list storage arrays, their capacity, and approximate runout date for all arrays in the environment. Sorted by runout date.
I have never been able to get SnapMirror monitoring working through SRM. I have SRM configured to use a NetApp OnCommand Core (DFM) server for monitoring. I don't want to have to create manual snapmirror.conf files on the NetApp filers. Nor do I think that is a good practice. Does anyone know how SRM can use the DFM server…
We recently deployed SRM into our Orion environment where we already have NPM, SAM, NCM and IPAM and it feels like SRM is not well integrated into Orion. A few of the things I have noticed thus far are as follows: * The performance graphs don't have an export button so you can see different date/time ranges for performance…
Pretty much what the title says. I'm trying to setup the evaluation SRM to see what it can do with our netapps. DFM can see all the nodes in cluster, all SVMs etc. However when connecting with SRM I only get following error "We were able to connect to the provider, but no compatible arrays were found. For more information…
And if so, why? How would you calculate total IOPS (read + write) threshold on a pool?
Does anyone know for sure if the SRM Module will monitor the NetApps E-Series data storage platform? I have been told it can, but would love to hear from someone that is maybe using it in their environment.
We are integrating SolarWinds in our environment. We have NetApp FAS in Cluster Mode. I understand that this is not yet supported in SolarWinds. If this is true, very interested to know when we will have this NetApp Cluster Mode monitoring available in SolarWinds?
We are now accepting sign-ups for anyone wishing to participate in a dev assisted upgrade of your Orion environment to Storage Resource Monitor 6.5 Release Candidate.
