Need the ability to set up scheduled scans of segments of the network and be able to save into a library. An example would be a quarterly or monthly scan of a Firestation, Police precinct or section of a data center. Want to be able to customize the icons that are used for different routers, firewalls, switches etc so that…
A big benefit to network administrators would be if NTM could also gather the serial numbers of discovered devices, specifically Cisco switches and routers. Simply move the location of the error messages to the middle of the screen, away from the command buttons. This also applies to when you save a map. A green pop-up covers the VIEW button and temporarily blocks that feature. It just extra unnecessary clicks.
Network Atlas allowed you to align icons, both vertically and horizontally. That feature would be nice in Orion Maps so that you don't have to do it manually.
Network Atlas used to leave a greyed out icon on a map whenever a node was deleted. Orion Maps just wipes out all traces of the nodes and it's connections. You may not know when a node has been deleted. Leaving some sort of artifact and the connections would be very nice and assist in rebuilding a map if required.
We had this functionality before, but lost it when we 'upgraded' to 2024.1.0
