NCM's Vulnerability Summary doesn't appear to take the current Cisco IOS version into account when presenting Vulnerability information. NCM should not display false-positive alerts. Here's what's going on: Switch: a new Cisco 4510R+E running 3.8.1 IOS NPM Vulnerability Alert: CVE-2002-1357 NIST Vulnerability Details: NVD…
Can Solarwinds monitor and backup Cisco FirePower?
In the NCM Compliance Moduel, allow Node Variables (i.e. custom properties) to be used in String Matching (i.e. "ip route ${VOIP_SUBNET} 255.255.255.0 ${FW_IPADDRESS}") so that node or site specific configurations can be checked.
NCM's SMTP server settings (fig. 1) seem redundant with the Orion platform's SMTP server settings (fig. 2). Is there any reason this can't be consolidated so NCM can simply rely on the mail server settings for the entire platform?

Despite being around for many years there doesn't seem to be much capability to customise inventories. It would be very useful to be able to add the commands needed to obtain arp tables, route tables, forwarding databases, adjacencies / neighbours for different protocols etc. The differences between the output to these…
