Hi all - we recently implemented DPA in our environment. We have a database server that is shared across multiple facilities. Is there way a to create a custom alert when a specific hostname connects to run queries on any of the databases? thx in advanced
DESCRIPTION This alert will list SQL Statements that have recently executed outside their normal execution time. The previous 14 days are compared when calculating the average execution time for a SQL. The results are reported back in percentage above normal executions time, e.g. if 200 is returned that means the query…
Hi Guys, Anyone got chance to integrate SW N-Central and SW DPA here. We have a N-Central environment and I wanted to ask if anyone done integrating this two tools. Appreciate everyones help. Thanks MCB
I'm interested in being able to extract SQL runtimes from the DPA database. I've looked in SWQL Studio but hadn't seen the data I was interested in in the Orion.DPA tables (If I'm missing it please point that out to me ). So I tried to use Invoke-WebRequest however I continued to get "Your Session has Expired...". Arguably…
Were are testing DPA v 12.1.696 with DPAIM 11.1.0. On the Database Summary page we are getting theses messages, DPA Instance: Cannot load data and DPA Instance: Cannot load data. I'm checking here to see if anyone else has seen this behavior, if so what did you to resolve the issue.
Found a pretty significant bug with DPA- sent it in to my account rep. Is there an official bug finder reward program at solarwinds? Its not an application to technical functionality bug- but more of revenue impacting bug.... those are the worst kinds.
Hi, Does anyone have a alert that triggers when a query for a user has been running > 30mins?
Error detail:- An unknown error has occurred. The provided message is "Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: Could not connect to server:1433: Connection reset".
In DPA, I can see that my SQL Server's CPU utilization is riding about 25% during business hours. What is the easiest way for me to see which queries are using the most CPU? e.g. "This stored procedure is contributing to about 10% (2.5% overall) of the CPU usage." This seems to me to be different than monitoring wait stats…
Why is it that I can look at what's going on now and see issues, but the next day nothing? For example, I can look at a specific server and see that there are currently blocked sessions occuring - sometimes way more than the five for a critical. When I look the next day there are none showing at all. Same thing on queries,…
