I have a bit of a different issue, but similar. Now that I have upgraded to 2025.x… I wanted to pass the health check! I am down to 2 Warnings. First warning is just a little more work on my part to eliminate SNMPv2 and use only v3. The other issue which should be resolved is regarding orphaned Limitations: Found orphaned…

Great SWQL query! I knew someone else would bite on this one! Good job @"yellowtj" Hope the world it is treating you with dignity and respect!

That is a loaded question when working with SolarWinds. If you have Virtualization Manager installed, then you just look at the summary page: What tools do you have installed? What hardware are you trying to scan? If you could provide more information, myself or someone else in THWACK can point you in the right direction.

Try #2 - I have had many lovely experiences troubleshooting my virtual environment. The one thing I can say about SolarWinds, she does not lie! I am glad I saved most of my reply on a word doc, as I stared on this reply to you a couple of hours ago! Likely Causes: * Incorrect Polling Method Assigned (Despite Appearances):…

I am still curious as to what kicked the dialogue on my question about the help desk. The question had been out there for a couple of weeks, folks were commenting on the post, then it just got yanked and I was notified that the content was flagged. No way to backtrack because all remnants of the conversation had been…

10-4 Thank YOU! @"kpina" we sure do keep you busy!! I did try to message you during the time that my post got pulled; I could select you as a recipient, but I could not enter in any text... that has since resolved, as I started a DM yesterday to you about a press event. I backed off the DM, as the video does not mention…

I had a discussion taken down for inappropriate content. It was an issue that we were all experiencing with the Web Help Desk; dialogue had been going on for a couple of weeks, the all the sudden the post got taken down, and I was served the notification of revocation. I submitted an appeal as I just wanted to know what…

This is a classic troubleshooting scenario where monitoring is working but the application itself is throwing errors. Here's a systematic approach to pinpoint the application causing the account login errors. Forgive me if some of this is redundant, and you have already performed. I wrote this up for my team a long time…

You can assign or test with different credentials - @"saschg" is correct in steering you towards the credentials.

Screen shot did not have TEST highlighted:
-
Go into the application monitor for IIS and run a check against credentials monitoring that application.

My Organization recognizes the critical importance of cybersecurity and has been proactively working towards aligning with the five pillars of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) framework. A robust cybersecurity posture is not built overnight, and we've been diligently strengthening our defenses and processes…

It is a great little cooler, hard case, so your sandwiches don't get crushed. Fits a 6 pack with ice just fine! I would definitely add it to my swag if I did not already have one! Its not a Yeti, but it is a great cooler! I think the Yeti's are overrated anyway! You get what you need with the small cooler! Works as…

I am just dealing with missing buttons on Web Help Desk after applying Hot Fix! Good Luck; I am most certain it is benign!

This is indeed an unusual situation. You're right, it's highly unlikely for the SolarWinds Teams app to install itself without any explicit action from either the users or the admin side. Here are some additional points and potential causes to investigate: Possible Explanations: * Accidental User Installation: While you…

I am suspect of the .Net Framework. I don't use that many agents. SolarWinds agents rely on the .NET framework. If the update included changes to the .NET framework, it might require a restart for the agent to function properly. In any case, since you are both experiencing the same issue, I would open a support case. This…

@"btuck" took your advice, installed it on the same server! Got great details already!!! I do need to add more memory... I am already blown away by the individual server dashboards, can't wait to get my DBA into the environment ... even though I just manage the infrastructure, I have learned how to read DPA results so that…

Well ,,, I hate to say it .. patience is a virtue... I had not had a chance to get back to this issue..,. when I came in on Monday both alerts had cleared ... not sure why it took so long, but those nagging amber beacons disappeared!

You have to configure both PA's to communicate to the NCM - the management interface must be configured individually on a HA pair. Not all configuration settings sync on a Palo Alto
-
Can you mark my answer as correct!!! Hope to be heading to a second answered question at the end too!
-
I am assuming that you are using the management IP address of the Palo Alto to have NCM dump the configuration. Go to Device, Interfaces, and select the management interface. You will need to allow SSH and also in the "Permitted IP Addresses" you will need to add the IP address of your NCM server.

@"dgsmith80" I could not say it any better! @"yumdarling" may you be blessed in your endeavors. Your presence in this community will be greatly missed. I don't belong to any other communities or groups to include the face and the twit... I will miss your wit and charm! Take care my friend!

I fixed it!

Getting management to share their dreams .. we have a great environment - but when you start throwing a couple more Tb of data that has not been planned can get a little frustrating.
-
My problem, there is only 1 of me! Thanks to Orion, all the big lifting is done, I just need to keep on top of any changes, and most important of all, take most of the recommendations being provided by Solarwinds. I am fortunate that my organization is small, but it is still a major chore to stay on top of everything. I…

I think I need to revisit additional options in APM! Believe it or not, this little poll triggered a few thoughts, .. then I felt a bit ashamed.... If I admit my faults, it forces me to do better!!
