Ditto... this is extremely discouraging.

I too have this same issue. I have opened a Support case and uploaded a diagnostics file. I also modified the threadsPerProcessor=40... will see what the effect is.
-
Are you seeing a siginificant increase in SQL CPU utilization since NetFlow V3?
-
David, If you can tell me what kind of performance counters, measurements, etc. you need, I will be more than happy to provide those to you pre and post Service Pack.
-
Not yet... have a Support case open.

I would like to get you guys a backup of my NetPerfMon database which averages 16-17GB per backup. What are my options?

What is the file size limitation for LeapFile?

You are not alone. Something is definitely wrong. I will let you know how my pending case turns out.

I assume in the node details page, on any of the NCM resources, you have verified your credentials are correct? Are you entering your username in the domain\username format?

I would like to know this as well. We are having some serious performance issues with our SQL server and it seems to be directly correlated to NetFlow 3.0. When NetFlow is running, our SQL server sees a 40% hike in CPU utilization. I have a case open in regards to it now.

Please tell me this will be included in the next version of Voip Monitor. This is horribly aggrevating when you have several hundred nodes and you have weed through them all to check the node off. Then once you check the node off, the page refreshes and you have find the node again in order to check the interfaces off,…

For a new window, try: ExecString="c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe ${IP} /n" As far as a new tab, cant you configure the tabs in IE to open all new URL's in a new tab?
-
This is what I did: INSERT INTO DeletedInterfaces (InterfaceID) SELECT InterfaceID FROM Interfaces WHERE CLAUSE Then DELETE FROM Interfaces WHERE CLAUSE

You can define an application by port or group of ports, but to my knowledge there isnt a way to define an application by IP.

I already had a case open from yesterday. I called Support this morning and while talking to the gentleman I made an astonishing discovery. My database which was running 69GB with a 4GB log file had EXPLODED to 165GB with a 95GB log file after installing IPSLA. Long story short, I made the decision to cut and run. My NPM…

I would absolutely love to not see the IPSLA config when I am looking at the device config. Takes up too much space and is distracting.
-
I have noticed the additional overhead to SQL to the tune of 40% CPU utilization increase when the NetFlow service is running. My SQL server is absolutely hammered. I hope SW figures this out and fixes it.

I got putty working. Thanks for the tip.

Chris, Thanks for your reply. Yes I am upgrading from a previous VoIP install. We were monitoring 3 CCM servers and approximately 25-30 VoIP nodes. I left the upgrade to run overnight and just checked on it. 6 hours and it is still running...

I agree with savell's request and I would add to that.... when you are adding infrastructure nodes and you select an interface, the whole page refreshes and you have to scroll back down to your device and select the next interface. Thisis very time consuming and frankly annoying.
-
I am looking to do the same thing. Hopefully one of the saavy techs will respond.

Yes in NTA, you can view the traffice by port, destination ip, source ip, a number of variables. Have you watched the demo of NTA? If not, I would reccomend it.

What about ASR series routers?

15 hours now and no further progress...
