@berger, Have you been able to reproduce this? It seems to work fine on my test system. See below...
-
Good to hear :).
-
Works fine on all octets. Is it running for you now? If so, could you share what fixed the problem?
-
@pcraddy diagnostics would be great. Please go ahead and send them over to Brandon or me.
-
kman968, Please open a support ticket so that we can take a closer look at your environment. There may be a few things we can do to improve your performance.

Sorry, I was referring to the two periods not the quotes. Also, you want to make sure you get the right IP Address to filter by. Here is a screen shot.
-
Or... Interface ${NetObjectName} on ${NodeName} received at ${Interface.InPercentUtil}% of its utilization, which triggered this alert. ${SQL:SELECT REPLACE(REPLACE(Macro, '$$Password$$', ''),'$$User$$', 'Admin') FROM NetFlowAlertMacros WHERE ID='OutWebMailInterfaceDetailsLink'} ...but then it will email your password
-
In the screen shot you have two '.' in a row.
-
I will let the our PM know. I am not sure what the timeline will be.
-
OK. Turning that off or switching to Firefox are the only two solutions I can offer for now. I will put a notch next to this on the task list. Thanks for reporting it.
-
One thing you can do is Search by Port to see all of the devices that have used this port.
-
If the hotfix does not help, please open a support case so that we can take a closer look.

Can you connect to the Cisco devices from the machine you installed it on? If you connect in manually, can you run the ip flow-cache command?
-
Sorry, I suggested to use the Universal Device Poller when I thought you were trying to pull specific utilization MIBs from the firewall. That is not going to help with discovering interfaces. Try using a MIB browser (there is one in Toolset) to check if you can see the ifTable…
-
It does make the graphs a bit less useful in this instance. However, if you keep the sample rate in mind, you will still see the spikes in traffic. I am not sure about the sFlow devices. I suppose it would depend on how the sampling is set up and what percent of flows are exported.

First question, EOC does not support Connect Now. Second question, I am not sure I understand the request. What I suggest is to create a map on each orion to cover the site. Then make that a submap of the EOC map. Hope that helps.
-
Ah. I thought you were talking about installing NCM to the server, not just the integration piece.
-
JTL, this is not currently possible with NTA. We will look at this as a future enhancement. Thanks for posting.
-
Joseph, we have updated this tool with the fix to the issue you are seeing. Let us know if it does not help: tool
-
I am not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish but it would probably help to create 18 ip groups, one for each subnet.
-
tacobell555, are you talking about the Default Interface Statistics Poll Interval? If so, you can reduce this to 3 minutes. It may increase the load on your Orion but you can always set it back if need be.
-
Try using the "Send an E-Mail / Page" action and include the following in the message: Interface ${NetObjectName} on ${NodeName} received at ${Interface.InPercentUtil}% of its utilization, which triggered this alert. ${SQL:SELECT Macro FROM NetFlowAlertMacros WHERE ID='InInterfaceDetailsLink'} Hope that works for you.
-
Does it return results without the filter on?
-
The column is nvarchar. What you are doing looks right to me but I cannot see your query in the screen shot. You should not have any / or * in your query.
-
@georgehe your db size and performance will depend greatly on the settings you have. You should consider tweaking how much historical data you keep and your Top Talk Optimization settings. That said, having the right hardware is very important.
-
max2479, We offer rate based charts for the node and interface level but not at the network level. Does that help? If you are looking for this on a network level, I can take that down as a feature request.
-
glad to be of service
-
Please take a look at jswan's reply at
-
Do you have Compatible view turned on in IE8? That may be part of the issue.
-
We do not have an ETA for NTA alerting but I will let PM know that you are interested.
