We did try to remove it from Solarwinds and then reinstall the agent. It still doesn't show the interface.

Yes it pings back with the correct address I was expecting. When the agent was installed, the weird address it came into solarwinds was 169.254.x.x and after some more googling I saw that this is a Microsoft address when there is a DHCP error. I'm confused how this came up because the computer is set with a static IP. Not…

When I unmanaged the node, the event log was still filling every minute with the agent alert. I also couldn't find any alert definition to pause or disable. I opened a case with support and got the response: Unfortunately, I do not think there is an option to silence these kinds of notifications of an agent. Have you tried…

The device was using an agent. I looked at the node management page again and it looks like the "Orion node is unmanaged" disappeared. Nothing changed as far as I know, so I don't know what caused it to disappear or what caused it to come up in the first place.

I like this look. How do you get the Node to have the URL link? The link is showing up as its own column.

Was there a resolution to this? I'm having the same issue. We had a workaround to get the Machine Type to report correctly in NPM, which was to change the cluster's SNMP config file back to the Isilon OID (had a webex with EMC to do this). But that didn't fix monitoring as a whole because listing resources brings up a…

Where can we see what the thwack points are awarded for? I used to be able to see it in my profile, but after the migration to this new UI, I'm not sure where I can find them.

@"yumdarling"AAAAHHHH THANK YOU!!! I finally got dice and charger!!!

I find it when I hover over my avatar to see My Subscriptions option. It takes you to a page Subscription & Notification, where you can select tab My Bookmarks.

We have a resource that filters this way under Filter Nodes (SQL): Caption Like 'CDC*' Maybe something like that?

I usually reach out to the solarwinds account manager to have a support team look at a pressing case if they haven't responded for some time.

It's happened to me as well, and I find mixing up the field options, like version number eventually gets me through. Then I add a note after the fact to correct it, just so that at least the ticket takes.

More color options with the shirts. (I tend to have too many black/grey t shirts.) Laptop security locks, laptop webcam privacy flaps Reusable earplugs, or ear muffs, flashlights (thinking for server room use) lunchbox, minicoolers, packs Clever sticky notes/ labels, mini rear mirrors More solar chargers (I keep missing…

I don't think it happened for our system.... then again we had paused alerts before shutting down services before making the upgrade.

1.3.6.1.4.1.12325.1.1.2.1.1 = Isilon OneFS, currently reporting Machine Type as as Fraunhofer FOKUS. Seems to happen to all our Isilons at OneFS v8.x, whereas those in v7.x are reporting correctly.

Check community string or credentials maybe? What happens when you do the SNMP test on the Edit Node Properties page? Did the server name or IP of the poller change? Maybe devices need to have the new names/ip added in its SNMP service of allowed servers?
