When should we expect to see the Thwack points for the mission shortcut?

I have the same t-shirt too. Unfortunately, it usually prompts someone to start asking me about their computer problems.
-
Yeah, still not sure about this one. Not a good way to start the week.

A pause button would be awesome. The refresh can be quite annoying...

Office 365 and Dameware Central Server.

I too have always been fascinated with taking things apart and putting them back together. Used to drive my parents crazy when I was a kid. I had more fun taking apart and rebuilding my toys than I did actually playing with them. I liked to hang out at Radio Shack when I was young. I was the only girl in the high school…

I'm glad I'm not the only one with issues with today's question. I really like the apples-oranges analogy.

And based on these first two questions, were do we go for some good netpath training?

I'm hoping to get my Pi today on Pi Day.

I was at a museum not too long ago and was amazed at how many things they have on display that I used to have or still have...

Thank you to Solarwinds for providing the tools to monitor the network. And thank you to my users, for without them, I wouldn't have a job.

I know this thread hasn't had any activity for a while, but I have ask - where are the new classes?

This happened back when we had an individual APC UPS for each server. Most of the servers were really just whitebox PCs in a rack mount case running a server OS. The facilities department was doing some planned maintenance on the electrical panel in the server room over the weekend. They assured me that they were not going…

I used to keep a bag of assorted mouse balls handy. For some reason, people liked to steal the balls from the shop floor computers. It was also fun to replace a user's mouse ball with a smaller one as a prank.

For question 3, the text in the hint mentions some items, "and more". I found the answer in the pictures.

I agree. Very sneaky, Thwack.

I need more points!

Back in the days of 3 1/2 floppies, we used some really cheap drives and disks. Occasionally, the sliding door would hang up on the innards of the drive and get stuck. Very few of our PCs were networked at the time, so sneakernet ruled our world. I had a user call me saying that a disk was stuck in her drive and she really…

I was having trouble with the survey until I realized that I was not logged on. Initially, it opened the survey at 83% complete.

Same here... I tried to answer it with what I'd like to monitor with SAM, but it won't take more than one selection. This poll needs to have a "None of the above" and it needs to allow for multiple selections.

Speaking of security focused - I received an email today from someone claiming to be from SolarWinds... they sent it to an email address that we haven't officially used for about 10 years. and the email came from an email address @solarwindsus.com. I forwarded the email to my account executive. He replied that the person…

Not sure why, but I noticed a bit ago that mine was also set to the UK. Strangely enough, I noticed it shortly after getting back from a vacation in the UK.

I happened to notice that my country has magically changed again. This time it had me in Uruguay. So, check your profiles...

Seems like I see a post like this every few years. I have been working with SolarWinds for longer than I like to admit. I really think it depends on the technician who has picked up your request. I have received a solution in less than an hour for low priority requests. And once I had a ticket that was open and active for…

I can't get to the store using either Edge or Chrome. I get a page that says: Email is invalid.

Just wondering if there has been any update on getting CloudGenix SD-WAN devices working properly with Solarwinds? I have several ION 1000's that are being detected as VeloCloud devices.
