not sure if you have tried using management web interface remotely, I just got my eval up and running last night, and the interface was very slow running on the localhost. If I run it remotely even from a workstation connected via VPN it very fast.

I am still waiting for logs of any sort from him, I think he screwed something up and was looking to blame something.
