I just turn on SNMP on the end device and use Universal Device Poller to pull more info from MIB's if it doesn't give me enough info.

I just set this up yesterday in my environment. You may want to add the enclosure as well as the virtual connection manager. There is separate SNMP settings in each UI. Even then....you will find that this still doesn't give you a lot of information so I have been trying to determine what more I can poll via the Universal…

I typically try using the Universal Device Poller to bring things together that are not typically provided through the default SNMP pull. Have you looked at the UnDP? It is installed on the SolarWinds server and you can usually Google the manufacture for SNMP MIB to see what you find. I have been able to pull the total…
