We upgraded to the latest version of SAM today. After 1 hour, I still don't see any warranty information. Anyone know why this is the case? Am I not being patient enough?

We are on the latest version of SAM and I am not seeing this listed under List Resources on our mailbox servers - and we run a discovery daily.

We fixed the issue with nothing showing up. However - I have 200+ nodes I would need to enable this one by one. I'm looking for a way to enable these either A) automatically or B) all at once, without going into every node.

That would help! Saw 6.1 and I got all excited. I've never installed any beta - a little wary of doing a beta in the production environment. Can the full versions install over the beta versions? Is it recommended that the beta versions be run in a lab environment?

Do I have to set up a script somehow to watch for emails sent from Gmail to my account? I'm still very confused how this works.

You never fail to answer my question in a very timely manner. Thank so much! This is perfect!

Would you be able to point me in the right direction on how to send mail via SNMP through Google?

What I was hoping to get was some statistical information on percentage of IP addresses is left, I want to avoid the scouring of event logs. Does IP address manager fulfill this? ——— Brandon Carder Sent from my iPhone Please ignore typos and brevity

Can we mix "type of property to monitor" - the last time I tried switching that, it changed the whole alert to fit that property, if that makes sense. Right now my alert is under "Hardware" - where the one you're talking about is APM: Hardware Sensor. I didn't think it was using an APM component to monitor hardware, I…

How would I set this for individual people? In other words, I don't want to change the default view for many of our users, just my group.

Petr, Thank you for your response, however - there are drive letters already assigned - any other ideas

OK - I'm having trouble following. I am getting some emails to my Gmail account. Is there something wrong with my config? This is a message used internally by SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor to test the send and receive ability of a specific EWS Mail Server. This message may appear because EWS gave up on the server…

Sorry, thought I posted. My apologies. http://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-102744

Anyone? Sort of in a bind here.

Thank you. I find it hard to believe that we're experiencing this issue in our remote Venlo site since there is a lot more activity in our Windsor site (we have CAS servers in Windsor, and also this is where the Orion box sits). Something tells me this is network related. My ask: Is there any way to adjust this monitor (or…

Sorry, should have been more specific. We are using the Windows DHCP Server template and the Server Scope Almost Full component. It keeps crossing thresholds.

That didn't do it, but thanks Lukas. I just opened a ticket.

Thank you to you to both! I have another question - I'm having an issue setting up my email alerts for this. I would like the alert to tell me which piece of hardware component failed. It doesn't seem to be working. Email comes over looking like this:

Thanks man! Question - what SQL code would I need to be able to filter this by a custom property, say "Department". Also - I'm only really interested in Windows servers - I'd like a way to be able to filter by that too. I guess I would need some SQL help w/ this which I am not familiar w/.

bsciencefiction.tv - Do I need to manually stop services or will the upgrade stop them on demand?

Well - to add to this - these are mount points. I added a directory on C:\ (VMDK) and was able to see the file count. Can the file count monitor be used with mount points?
