Did you check out the APM tables? It might keep the reason in the main APM table since it is Object specific

Try looking at the events for the node to see if anything pops up. Are you using agent initiated or server-initiate? Maybe try the other and see if you get the same results. Could be a polling engine issue. Do you have another polling engine you can move it on to? looking over the history for response time for ICMP. Does that show latency issues? Also - go to list resources command for the node and validate its using ICMP

The documentation aspect is nice. Will the agent have access to the same knowledge repository that SolarWinds Support uses? That would be helpful when troubleshooting issues to have another source to bounce ideas off of.
