Using HP Service desk, we use the sdevent.exe (via adv. alerts) to open tickets in the service desk tool. Its very easy to configure, and pass variables. Sounds to me that this is not a problem after reading the Google Maps API Terms of Use , as long as the resource that is being created is available FREE to the public. As long as Solarwinds does not charge for the map resource, its all good, same as Scrutinizer.

I found a product that does this very well, called Scrutinizer Netflow Analyzer. They use the google maps API to generate a map for the node based on address/Coordinates. I am not a developer, but there dosent seem to be any licensing issues here as its packaged into their product. Thanks
