what a frustrating auth type though, can't just login, gotta act like we're gaining access to fort knox. At least integrate with authenticator apps at a minimum.

What I find troubling is to decommission a functioning platform to deploy a completely new platform with virtually no testing whatsoever. At least not rigorous testing. Homepage loads? Send it. As a customer, yeah, being down for that long would be a serious conversation. If I find out you deployed my application without…

maybe you just solved the puzzle … maybe this was a test for CoPilot to migrate the platform and it just keeps spitting out nonsense. This whole place is being vibe-coded.

I used to gauge my odds of winning something from the Thwack missions based on the total number of "votes received" on the various polls, which usually, if I remember correctly, hovered around the ~200 - 300 mark … So there are 200,000 members, but only 0.001-0.0015% of them participate in missions?

a word can mean whatever it is understood to mean. This is easily reflected in words having multiple definitions, applications, pronunciations, and includes jargon and slang. Most language experts have agreed that the word "irony" although often misused in its' literal sense, is still widely understood when used in the…

I can't be the only one who finds the irony in the last mission with any type of update for the last 3 months being called "status report"

what are you going to do with your points? Wonder if there is a Reddit Karma coversion tool in the works /s

I don't think points matter anymore

not even so much as a peep from them since 1/5/26 … I would imagine this place is dead. I know I've moved on and probably won't come back, and some of my colleagues feel the same way. Thwack declined significantly after Yum left the moderation team. Those who followed were impolite, unprofessional, and typically…

If you think Wall-E is better than the copier scene in Office Space, we can't be friends

I think for the missions that reference a source, it's always a case of "per the source" ... but sometimes it's not lol
-
@"petergwilson" You are correct, they do not all start on the 1st, but one could reasonably deduce that the contest starts on the 1st under normal circumstances, or the first Monday following the 1st, should the 1st fall on a weekend or otherwise non-standard weekday (ie holiday) Ultra Pro Tip: change your tone and you…

derp ... totally missed that!

I guess my point was that if you validate ALL of the items, you would have had (2) that stood out, which should have prompted further investigation.

They fixed Day 4, and I fudged it. I just selected an answer to see what it would do and it worked lmao... oh well

I REALLY wish you could set a default sort ... every time you visit the page, click 'newest' ... seems like a pretty simple adjustment.

I think the last month is always the questions that had the highest gap in successful answers (read: the hardest) I personally got 4 wrong this month, and I frequently miss one or none for each month.
-
Ah I see, you are correct ... sorry about that ... I expected it to be under New Features since it's ... well ... a new feature ... or at least some type of indication that it was recently added. Lesson learned
-
I got it correct by simply not giving a crap and guessing the answers based on context

kinda funny, day one was checkboxes and should have been radio, today was radio and should have been checkboxes. I wonder if we'll ever get a question that doesn't need repaired XD

doubt it, there were like three warnings to not forget the hyphen

correction, had 13D wrong, so 14a didn't make sense, got that now but 13D is still baffling me

I agree, this question kind of made me mad because of the terminology used. He calls out a USER named "administrator", but then specifies a GROUP called "about to the leave the company" or whatever the verbiage was ... very misleading, and I agree that ANYONE can exfiltrate data, he keyed in on a USE CASE SCENARIO and not…
-
it's also worth mentioning, that in the case of alot of the questions, many of the answer choices are literally comedic. Just reading the answer choices, you should be able to rule out at least one of the incorrect options, if not all three.
