I just installed 12.5.2 on my test instance and right from the get go I am seeing the same issue as ddevore9 I do note seem to be able to log in with domain credentials as user who is a tech admin. I tried with our standard test account and that worked fine. I read the doc and I am only more confused. All of my techs…

Hate to be the squeaky wheel but its been almost another month. Where does this stand?
-
Glad to hear its moving along,

Given SW typical MO I would think that a fix for this in a 12.6.X service release is most likely. Unless a large number of customers open tickets its unlikely they pull and replace the 12.6.0 release to fix an installer bug.
-
Save button is also used if you upload an attachment, like screenshot, log file whatever.
-
This is true. 12.5.1 add official support for Exchange 2016 (on prem) and O365 cloud email.
-
bshopp Are you able to give us an update on how close you are to the RC phase for the 12.7(.1?) rerelease starting up?
-
Its working now. Thank you
-
I do not believe there is a separate thread for people upgrading at this time. However 12.6.0 is pretty stable and there also is a Hot fix 1 available for it as well that fixes a few more minor issues there were found post release. As for 12.7 at this point as you can see from this thread is still waiting on a re-release…

I was in the portal but looking on the wrong screen I got it installed now. I did find it and its build is 12.2.0 - Build #12.2.0.1034 so it is indeed newer than the beta.

Just a thought Solarwinds has released RDC 2 build .471 the RC1 build is .462, Perhaps updating to the latest and see if it still happens if not its probably time to open a support case.
-
Not as far as I would like as Covid has kind of messed up our schedule. I have the new build installed in our test VM, and I was poking around the 365 settings in Azure AD and we have some of it set up as we use O365 as our SSO for WHD so had to create the application already. So I think I just need to add the email…

Spent about 90 minutes with support working on the unable to save profile issue. They took the logs and the health utility report and pushed it up the chain.
-
We did a remote session today and SW support is working on the CSS issues!
-
Glad you have it worked out and good luck figuring why its happening.
-
I know this is probably not the correct thread but first welcome back, second what feature set are we looking at for what I would assume will be a 12.6 Service release?
-
Go to setup --> General --> Authentication --> uncheck Show Forgot Password Button --> click save
-
Not sure 100% but if you have the issue where clients adding a note or trying to cancel a ticket causes the UI or possibly the whole thread to freeze there is a buddy drop they were testing for that. If you upgraded prod may want to ask if its applicable. It's buddy drop WHD3557

Hello cmazko Thank you fro looking into this. I am glad to see that they will update the KB however my issue had nothing to do with Casper/JAMF PRO. We actually are a Casper JAMF customer but currently do not have it hooked into WHD. Our import is coming from Microsoft SCCM. Does it have a similar override? Also How does…

I did not check that. Do you know which dameon would need to be moved to debug? Also I was messing with it further and go the background of the error not found to show tomcat and I get this error greyed out behind the "Error Not Found" box. Does the app have any known issues if your are using a SAML 2.0 authentication…
-
Did you have an issue where the files in the download were encrypted? I did and could not figure out why the services would not start after replacing the three affected files. I created a case to see if that is an error or by design but not documented in the install instructions.
-
I forgot about asset search as we do not allow that for our users. It does not really do what you are hoping it does. Its used for the reservable assets feature. You could create a mandatory custom field for this information.
-
I am also using SCCM.
-
Remeber you can also click the little back arrow in the upper left corner of the ticket to clear your hold on a ticket.
-
That is weird I am not seeing that
-
They created a new thread for RC 3 see here WHD 12.7 RC3 Now Available
-
Glad you were able to get those changes made. The system will run quite a bit better. As I noted post Version 12.1 they patched a few huge memory/handle leaks but it is still a java based application so yea. I also have no idea why the factory defaults are so low. Its only 128mb and 256mb which in the real world would only…

I usually only talk with them when they call me around renewal time but keeping the contact is not a bad thing just in case. I dont know how to find out who it is any other way though.
-
I have added the WHD to my products owned. The next question is when will we be able to add feature requests to this forum. Right now when I try I do not have access.
