So glad this features if finally being implemented. I have a couple of internal techs that are part of approvals and every single time I apply an upgrade they ask if this issue is fixed.

Are you stating this should integrate with 3rd party self service password products or WHD should be able to do this natively? If you are asking for native support this sounds like something that could be a crazy amount of feature creep from a ticketing system. I am holding off voting until this gets clarified.

This application can integrate with enough 3rd party applicaions including SCCM, Apple Remote Desktop, LanRev, and LanSweeper that a built in asset discovery should not a high priority feature request.

Sorry about that you do NOT need the beta. This feature was introduced in the 10.2 beta in the last beta update it was rebranded to V11 and we now have V12. You just need to set it up and they can point to the same user id, the error message about the account not working in the client side is ignorable and was for pre 10.2…

Will we be seeing further enhancement to the client interface? for the 12.7.0/1 release we saw the history and profile tabs get a modernization rewrite (and unfortunately some bugs that made it through the 12.7.0 beta program). Wil we be seeing other tabs also get refreshed?

Glen, At this time I believe only the FAQ section in the tech side of the interface is migrated to the new framework so I doubt it will resolve the session issue you are asking about.

We added a custom Asset Field called Operating System then linked it to the SCCM using the "OS Name" field. In WHD 12.2 you can report on the OS this way using asset reporting. For Mac's and Phones we added custom choices to the OS list but it is a manual choice.

Auto detecting the screen size and scaling accoidingly could be good. I agree that on a 24 in widescreen a lot of screen real-estate is wasted.

Just out of curiosity what is the new frontend language for WHD? I know currently it uses WebObjects which was depreciated by Apple a few years ago.

They seemingly started this with the 12.7.1 release in rewriting the history and profile tabs. Would be good to see more of it get a major refresh.

If you go to your tech group and choose no auto assignment it does assign to the groups. Is that what you are looking for?

You are already able to change the default screen to be any section it does not have to be the new ticket page, ours defaults to the history tab. Or you could have the messages section be default. If you change the default CSS you can the system shows tabs instead of just text. The CSS is in setup under "look and feel". To…
