Hi Andy, No, I just assumed on that because if you'll notice. The amount of RAMs listed on that section is quite small when being utilized to full. But anyhow, I'll still open a ticket on this concern. How am I going to open a ticket by the way? and how long I will be able to get a response? TIA.

Hi Andy, I see, but before I do that could you take a look at the web based demo of Orion? it seems that the demo has some nodes which has the same scenario as mine. It looks like the memories under "Top 10 Volumes by Disk Space Used" isn't fixed as well. TIA.

Hi Andy, I forgot to tell you that I haven't used a Wireshark before, so could you give some guide on how can I generate the data that you want? TIA.
-
Hi Andy, I'm with you on that, that's really weird. But I'll try to do wireshark later on and post what I'll get.

Hi Andy, Which one are you referring to by "constant values"? If you're talking about the values being shown by hrStorageSize, then its no. The values being shown by hrStorageSize differs but the only value constant here is the product (16,474,247,168 B) of the .4 and .5 results (hrStorageSize x hrStorageAllocationUnits).…

Hi Andy, I did the rediscovery and so far the value has not change yet. I will continue to observe the machine from the time being. The value is still the same (16,474,247,168 B) after I did the SNMP walk even though the value on the "size" section changes. Yes, I presume that it shouldn't change. Because, it will only…
-
Hi Andy, Sorry for the late response, I was kinda busy with some other things. Anyway, about your question. Yes, the values are from the hrStorageSize. Why, is there something wrong?
-
Hi Andy, No, I've got a new values and here they are 1008088 1960408 1002595 50942 I also attached a screenshot to show the current values of the RAM base on the web console. As you can see they are currently showing 3Gig++ each compare to my previous screenshots which are showing aroung 700+Mb only.
-
Hi Andy, I also did what you've done the SNMP walk results. And guess what, I also got the same answer (16,474,247,168 B) Now to your question, yes I did a re-discovery. But, right now there aren't any changes, but what puzzles me is that when the machine is being utilize in full (the RAM monitors goes red) the "size"…

Hi Andy, Ok, got it. Here's the debug results. dumpv_recv: ObjID: RFC1213-MIB::ipRouteIfIndex.192.168.46.31 trace: ..\..\snmplib\snmp_api.c, 4674: dumph_recv: Value trace: ..\..\snmplib\snmp_api.c, 5416: sess_process_packet: received message id#0 reqid#26793 trace: ..\..\snmplib\snmp_client.c, 180: snmp_synch: Response…

Hi Andy, Here are the results of the walk. 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.4 HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageAllocationUnits.1 = INTEGER: 4096 Bytes HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageAllocationUnits.2 = INTEGER: 4096 Bytes HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageAllocationUnits.3 = INTEGER: 4096 Bytes HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageAllocationUnits.4 =…

Hi Andy, I've already did that and still no result from the debug, all I've got is the message below. -D: (Sub-id not found: (top) -> -D) What value should I put after -D? ALL is not working. I did the walk on the .3 and comparing to the screenshots I've posted, the walk result is correct. These are the exact names that…

Hi Andy, I did what you've mentioned on you response here's what I've got. 1. About the debugging, I was not successful I'm getting these errors whenever I tried to run it. Timeout: No Response from 172.19.13.2-D snmpwalk: Unknown host (172.19.13.2-D) (No such file or directory) And when I put a space between the IP add…

Hi Andy, Thanks for looking. :) About the result, yes I've noticed that as well. I compared the resulst from the MIB walk to the SNMP wal results and they're the same. It seems the SNMP is the culprit. But I still have questions (sorry, I just want this to be clear as a crystal). Hope you are still willing to help. :) 1.…

Hi Andy, Thanks for this prompt response. Here's the result of the Net-SNMP's snmpwalk. Kindly check it out for discrepancies. Thanks!
-
Hi Andy, Could you teach me how to use Net-SNMP to gather the MIB of the element that I'm having trouble. I tried to read the documentation but the thing is I'm having a difficult time understanding it. TIA.
-
Hi Andy, Thanks for the response. I'll try to do this later and post the results later (need to take my lunch first). regards,

Hi Andy, Yes, that's what I did. I tried to used SNMP v2 on the NPM without setting the device first to SNMP v2 because we don't have the authority to do that now. But, what I want to know is that, is this a SNMP v1 issue? which is causing the problem? and how do I access Net-SNMP? On a side note, could you also teach me…
-
Hi Andy, I deleted the element and rediscover it, when I manually added it and chose SNMP v2 a pop-up appeared saying that the device only responds to SNMP v1. So, I chose it and again same result. Does that mean that this is an issue concerning SNMP v1? Is there anyway to fix this? How can I prove to them that the SNMP is…

Hi Andy, Attached is the .xls file again (.jpg file), I checked it and it is still showing only 4 HOST MIB's. What do you think is causing is this problem? why is the MIB walk only showing 4 HOST MIB's? On a side note, I checked with their IT guy to verify the information on the said machine since he is using a different…

Hi Andy, I'll try to change the config of the Riverbed. Thanks,
-
Hi lr89, Thanks for this suggestion. :) But I have questions though. 1. which one should I download? 2. Is this easy to integrate on Orion? 3. How powerful is this (features)? TIA.
-
Hi Andy, I just want to clarify on what you're to say on this "And that you see more than 5 under HOST-RESOURCES-MIB"? 'coz I checked the excel file and it's only showing 4 HOST-RESOURCES-MIB, and all the values are those that I've got from running the Standard mode in MIB walk, I'll try to re-run it again and see if I'll…
-
Hi Andy, AFAIK, there will be no routing issues here but what I'm thinking is that why should we point the flow of Riverbed to the IP add of the physical machine hosting the VM and not the other way around? as what I've mentioned on my previous post about the "NetFlow Collector Services" the value/name showing on it is for…
-
Hi, Sorry about that, I used the private one instead of the standard in running MIB. Anyway, here's the attached file. This is not a .csv file since the format gets corrupted when I saved it to that file type. Also, I've changed the extension to .jpg 'coz I can't attached it kindly change it back to .xls. Thanks,
-
Hi Andy, Yeah, that's what I'm thinking also. I'm just hoping that maybe you have something on your mind that has the same effect. Hope someone from the Solarwinds' developers notice this and add this feature in the future releases. I think this would be a great addition. @Aniki There you go, coming from Andy. He has no…

Hi mcbridea, Thanks, I'll try this one. :) Regards,

Hi Byrona, Thanks for the prompt response. :) This will be a big help. But I do have some questions, about this two. RT 1. About RT, you said that your company used this when your just starting. Does that mean it is now scalable? 2. And, what technical expertise are required to configure RT? as what you've mentioned on…

Hi Andy, I checked on the NTA settings and I found out that I can add a new collector, it says "To add a new collector, a new collector must be installed on another Orion poller." I was wondering how am I gonna do this? any tips, maybe this will solve my problem. TIA
-
Hi Andy, That is what the IT guy did, he set-up the Riverbed to direct its flow to the physical machine hosting the VM. If you'll check LAST RECEIVED NETFLOW on my screenshots it shows "never", now I was wondering why I'm not getting any information coming from the Riverbed machine? the only information I'm getting and the…
