Good articles, silverwolf, thanks. So it sounds like it is not possible to re-import backed up logs to our current LEM virtual appliance. Is that correct? Currently we only have one Manager (virtual appliance). SolarWinds requires another manager just for restoring backups?

I am now able to automate detachment of mass storage devices not on the approved list, however I am still needing to be able to detach any USB device (including keyboards, mice, webcams, etc.) that are not on…

Thanks for the info. Two quick comments though - 1) the feature request you mentioned (and I voted for) is dated 2012 ....so, probably not likely this is a high priority item for SolarWinds. 2) a comment from another user on that feature request mentioned a work-around but no details. Are you aware of such a work-around…
