That helped, thanks. Now that I have all the node IDs correct, I have forced the device to send an SNMP trap but I don't see it in the alerts.

I found that my node ID was wrong. I do I find the rest of the node ID for the other devices. I have been looking in the database manager but can't find them. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have tried setting up a filter from that post you frefered me to on how too convert a trap to an alert. I don't see an alert for the trap filter that I created and wondering if there is a way to see if the filter even works (logs, viewer...). Is there something I need to program in the advanced alerts for these trap…

I could do this, but these email addresses are coming from the customer of who they want to get notified. I am asking the question so I can find out if there is a maximum amount of emails that can be entered so we can inform the customer if they need to create a smaller list or set up a group. Thanks

I tried setting up "converting a trap" to an alert and it doesn't seem to work. Is there something I need to setup in the advance alert to show up in the alerts?
