There is no easy way I can see to create a report for configured alerts that can be triggered by each node by using SWQL or SQL. I have a few thoughts around how to get this data and may be able to work through some ideas over the next few weeks. 

There are no specific versions of the SDK to match against the version of the modules you have installed. The latest version of the SDK should work for your environment. Have you installed and tested SWQL studio against your installation? What are your plans for using the API?

That would provide a little more challenging and may not be easily achievable with SQL/SWQL. Let me see what I can find from a little lab work.

I haven't used this method to disable a component monitor before and there is no SWIS verb available to do so. Have you seen the URI for the components documented somewhere?

What version are you using? Have you ever raised this with support? If so can you share the case number? While the workaround looks good I would like to better understand this behaviour to determine if it is something we can improve.

UDT is required to poll and report on the port status and utilization over time.

There is no migration / merge utility for this case, best solution would be to add a 30 day eval copy of SAM to the NPM instance and manually add the nodes, applications monitors / custom alerts / user etc, then migrate then migrate the license.
