This use case would be for a custom alert where you need to pull some specific detail from the database, and where one of the out of the box alerts won't already work. In the same way as you'd use a custom query widget in the web console.

For reference, this was related to an orphaned DHCP Server in the database, once it was removed the dialogue window opened fine.

If you're wanting to send from on prem kit without configuring connectors individually could you via an Exchange server instead? If not, have a look at SMTP2GO, or similar service. Has anyone experienced problems with editing DHCP servers once added? The window pops up but never loads fully and shows greyed out. We're seeing this with one of our customers and currently have a support case open.
