Thanks Don. I do believe I have found out why it doesn't work....now I just need Solarwinds to confirm this and release a fix: When you open IIS and select your Orion web site, click properties and within the Web Site tab under the description you can set the IP address or select "(All Unassigned)". I originally suspected…

I gave up trying to get mine to work and settled having it on a dedicated IP address. Someone else seems to have found a solution (I can't verify that it works but it might be worth trying): View the complete topic at: Posted By: JustinY in Orion Network Performance Monitor Subject: Re: Upgrade from 8.5.0 to 8.5.1 with Sp1…

Yes, I can run the system manager without problem. I did run the service manager and shut everything down and then started them all back up. I even rebooted the server but it still doesn't work. It appears this is a website issue. I run Orion on IIS6 and I use host header to access (orion.wanee.org). It doesn't have a…

I just got off the phone with Chris from support and he had me do the following (by the way....thanks Chris!!): 1. Go to the root of your Orion web folder and open the "Orion" folder, then open the file "custom.config" 2. Look for the IP address next to <proxy host= and you should see 127.0.0.1. Change this to the IP…

I just set it to snmp v3 and set a username and password through the web interface. SNMP management seems to be working fine.

I do not have netflow. I tried to reinstall 8.5.1 (ran the repair option) and then reapplied sp1 (ran the update.exe which came with the download). The result is the same error when accessing the website. Any other ideas?

J, I have the same issue after upgrading from 8.5.0 to 8.5.1 with sp1. I also used host headers to differentiate my sites because I run several on the same server with a single IP. I have a separate thread on this but I thought to post what I've found here as well since we're essentially discussing the same problem, or so…

That's a good thought... System Manager --> Interface Details says "1000000000" which I believe is accurate for a Gigabit interface (billion bits) I only have a couple of interfaces that run at 100Mbps and I can understand if the percentage of use is small it might not creep up to 1% but I threw 300Mbps at this thing for…

We upgraded our 1500P's last week to the IP-10's and for us, they've been rock solid and we have significantly improved performance. Our 1500P's were licensed in the 23Ghz spectrum and the new IP-10's are licensed at 11Ghz. I'm no wireless radio expert but I couldn't be happier with the IP-10's. One of our sites was a mile…
