Seems such an obvious feature, I'm surprised it's not already available.

I could also do with some help on this.... Since the physical interfaces on the standby firewall show as "link inactive, phy-link up/full-duplex, admin status up" via CLI is it possible to tweak NPM to interperate this as "up" - currently NPM shows these interfaces as down which is incorrect. Thanks.......

Thanks bcorgey but maybe I didn't explain the requirement properly. I want a script to configure 2x Syslog destinations AND to remove ANY other Syslog destinations that MAY have already been defined in the config, i.e. "no logging server *.*.*.*". Perhaps this is more of a config compliance question?

Any further updates to this - I'm also seeing the interfaces on a Catalyst 4500-X running 15.2.1? What would be the most efficient way to configure NPM to automatically ignore this type of interface? Thanks

All, if you check the memory utilisation via CLI you'll likely see the same high memory utilisation. The ASR hardware plaftorm is a indeed a weird and wonderful beast with a number of different memory areas. Thanks for the reply. So is the suggestion that I do the following: Network sonar discovery -> Add new discovery Then in the network section add the IP address of each node on which I wish to rediscover previoulsy deleted interfaces? Thanks, Tim

Does anyone know if this is still the case with latest NPM version - is there still a requirement for backend changes when changing server hostname?
