This would defiantly cause less strain on the eyes, from the standard "light" mode, when panel lights are reflecting from the screen as well!

Woo! first week, where I haven't managed to miss-read a question when answering!

I personally think Code Editing is a vital ingredient in showing very niche data sets that are important to the right teams. Defiantly agree with overview, but then in-depth dashboards I use custom widgets all the time for coding data... Being able to to this at a level higher would be amazing.... Also #DarkModeIsAMust

Did anyone ever look into this. I am running into the same issue that we have Aruba / HPE stacked modules... However only the primary is registered into the system and if a single part of the stack drops and reboots, it flags that the whole device has rebooted (though not the case).

That one left me in stitches, generally thought I got duped for a moment

I'm unable to upload the screenshot of the monthly shortcut and it mentions that I have already entered?

From my understanding this is not possible directly in SolarWinds to pass through multi-credential sets (would make for a nice feature). The 1 account normally applied and as you've rightly stated calling that $user / $pass variable works.... when handling the multiple accounts, I have used the following method: 1. Use the…

Hello there! I have had a look into this from another system and have some results: I've not directly seen that error before. However, have you tried uninstalling and running a fresh install for the SWQL studio? Aside from the image error, I have run tests on the SWQL codes provided had had some additional…

Hi. when you mention the query runs correctly, is that via the database manager connecting back to your SolarWinds SQL box? When entering the command structure into the build process of the report, double-check when you enter the SQL code into the content field you are selecting the correct syntax, as within the advanced…

I believe it works as a hard cut off.... I.E below 70% is fail, but anything that is 70% or above is PASS. When you got to the end of the test (though we weren't allowed to screenshot results) this should have stated if you PASSED or FAILED at this point. From my understanding, you've passed this and will have the Cert…

Thanks for the reply, the cert came through within 2 days of taken the exam around 3pm (GMT). Not sure if over weekend differs, but if anything you should have it by the latest of Wednesday... If not message the SolarWinds cert team as they are more than helpful in replies :)

How far back are you trying to look for this device? If this is outside your data retention period that you keep logs for, then you will no longer have logs ... I.E if you only keep logs for 30 days... you are not going to see devices that where deleted 32 days ago ETC. Same is applied on both the GUI and the SWQL back end…

Not relevant to me, we do not have SAM within our environment (yet!)

Phone should have also been a key option. Most if not all come-in via phone, with smaller numbers of people adopting newer methods of using email or direct on service portals.

Hi, Thanks for the response... I have not yet got this as a CASE with support (There are other platform issues - I will get this added to the list). Interesting that you mention about using the HTTPS encryption method and it works... Would I have to setup a HTTPS version for the website (443)? ... Or would I be able to…

Did anyone have any luck to creating the SQL or SWQL query? I am looking at reporting on something very similar, but instead of reporting on user's I am reporting on interface ports active in the last 30 days.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. Yes, technically speaking if a single leg went down then the AP will still be online.... There is no break in connectivity unless all legs on the device are down, however, with the out of the box alert it creates a lot of noise and does not know the difference between a "Full down" or…

Yes. Downloading the SKD and looking at how to write the SQL is on my many list of things to do Generally would be legend to even see a simple version of the idea to get my head around this better... I feel its because its a new language to me I am just like "uhhhh, i don't know". XD

Additionally learning the SWQL language for coding advanced alerts and conditions that cannot be achieved by the standard GUI options.
-
One thing that is currently interesting for me is that a lot of the Alerts I have configured are SWQL based to the complex nature of the event or because a certain field within the DB is being targeted. Will there be further improvements in the following: 1) Making more complex alert commands easier to be applied via the…

It's an odd thing that I have just seen today as well! Ended up doing the excat same troubleshooting and way to resolve. After the poller server being rebooted the polling has come back to life as expected. I am currently looking for an expression that will be able to alert and trigger upon the condition of the polling…
