update.. got the Alert to successfully log, email and restart the service I did notice that from the alert that the service is down to when its up is 5 - 6 minutes. is that normal ? i went through the Alert settings and cant find a way to speed this up

still knew to this.. i cant find where to disable the hardware sensors. i even tried adding the manage sensors widget with no success. with other equipment i just go to that widget.

thanks for the info, but i cant find that anywhere. i checked in the universal poller app i used to create the object and in the chart options. attached screenshots still new to this app, so i apologize if i get the terminology wrong.

update; spent some time with solarwinds support. they unsuccessfully tried to get the graphs via the Custom object resource. promised to look into it and will get back to me
