  • ok, I think I've found the answer, it's much easier to use the Basic Alert manager; in the alert, we have a tab for Monitored Network Devices, we can pick and choose here which devices we want to send the alert for to this particular person's or group's email.

  • Thanks Rob, I was able to create the group, currently it has 7 devices, but unable to create an email alert when a group member goes down; can you please have an example of how to create one. Looks like that we can not define an alert from the group itself rather it has to be created from alerts. I was not able to figure…
