It's a kind of expense that doesn't seem to profit thus are usually frowned upon by bean counters. There's such a huge indirect ROI on this, it's a shame they can't see it...

It's alright mrs.alterego, no inconvenience at all, I was just a little surprised to have to be moderated. I do prefer it that way.

Ah, thanks DanielleH for the clarification...

If you filter what you are sending, besides not giving the complete picture, part of the job is already done and you might as well go the extra mile and analyze it yourself. You obviously already have some sort of knowledge in-house or else you would be sending anything that's not really relevant. So I guess it rules out…

Something tells me you'll be biting your elbow before the drawing is done...

Passing the comments here through my Guesstimating Machine (TM), it should be : Christopher Good (12/12) Brian Lee (12/12) Michael Straughan (12/12) Me (12/12) Tom Iannelli (11/12) FamilyofCrowes (11/12) Scott Sadlocha (10/12) You (?/12) so yeah... we're more than 5.

A warm pita is a lot more desirable than a warm PITA... ouch... When I said "your" relationship status, I meant everyone's or anyone's status, not yours, cahunt... let's keep Thwack professional.

I was already pretty much convinced, but with this, I am putting DRS on next year budget for sure.

I do see a difference between the possibility of being tracked by anyone and the certainty of being tracked by someone. Much like being in public (where anyone could track you) and being watched (where someone does track you). I find the former being somewhat less bothering.

Couldn't order it at the time they came out as I'm in Canada... it's a shame, it would have looked terrific in my office. All I have on my walls currently is an unused whiteboard. Boring !

I guess they will accept with or without dash but I wrote my answer with the dash and got it correct. Mike Driskell : I watched the video at least 3 times and re-read the question numerous times and then it dawned on me... Keep thinking !

All done, now bring on the Mindstorm ! Seriously, good luck to everyone !
-
Agreed with both of you ! Did not know about it until I tried to figure out what it meant and I would love to win it !
-
Agreed, you test with a small subset of your network and everything is fine, and when you go full blast then *BOOM*, everything falls appart.

We have not yet started deploying VoIP to end users (we have PBX to PBX between a few sites and that's all) so I'm going to save this info for when we start planing for it. Thanks a lot Stephen Occhiogrosso ! Nice checklist ! I'll be following this series closely.

The worst is when the message sounds like it's a matter of great urgency, like their lives depended on it. ... and that's just what we see in the threads... imagine how many PMs maria.bungau and DanielleH receive that we do not see...

We're going too complicated... thwackists ?

I'm with you there, Radioteacher. I usually order everything by serial number, color, size, anything bur arbitrary. I hate it when it's my turn to tidy up the kids bookshelves. I usually remove everything and place everything back ordered by size... but I know it never lasts more than a day.
-
Thwack is becoming a family thing here. When I get back home from work, instead of asking me "How was your day ?" the kids now ask me "Have you answered correctly today ?".
-
Everyone feels like their ticket is high priority Oh, so true... We are currently trying to devise a workable time table but right now it's more "right away", "later" and "probably never".

What does your IT Security have in common with Taylor Swift? Both are sexy ? Seriously, you are right, if FB, Twitter and JPMC can't garantee our security, what can we do, with our considerably lower IT budget and resources ? Well not much, but in the end, it's mostly a matter of target. I can leave the door to my house…

No need to thank me for that deep analysis, it's my pleasure. Accuracy is my strong suit.

I'm deeply sorry, I really meant to point out that it was in fact impressive as it took mere minutes to get approved, but in the midst of a very busy day, that thought finally slipped my mind. DanielleH (and all other moderators), please, consider yourself duly extolled
-
Oh yeah !!! Got today's quiz right too ! DanielleH, could you please confirm that I'm 11/11 ? I was about to go and brag about it but uncertainty just struck me... have I skipped a day ? There's no hurry, so please, only if you have the time. Thanks a lot !

I am kind of ill at ease knowing you daydream about me... but this story will be printed, framed and hanged in my office. You know, it does look a little like this in fact.
-
Oh, ok... since I entered the right answer just once (haven't tried with caps), I thought it didn't matter. Never thought it needed all lower case. Need... more... coffee...
