All done! Now I just need to move to the US so I can take part in the drawing...

Now I have answered all four questions and received the days letter, and have been able to submit my username for all four days. The questions still remain open though, if I go into the same day. I believe that in former missions, the questions were locked when they were answered. That way I could verify if I had answered…

If you friend me, I'll send you the answer and why. I got it right in the first shot but was very much in doubt if that was really what meant Edit: obviously, I'm not going to disclose the answer to anyone asking. It was meant to , as he had already answered and got the question wrong

All done. Good thing I won't have to wait in suspense to see if I have won. Us foreigners are only in the game for honor and glory

I would say that I'm a huge fan of IPv6, and in an ideal world we should switch over now and don't look back. I'm running IPv6 at home (unfortunately not provided natively by my isp) and have gone through the free IPv6 certification at Hurricane Electric: IPv6 Certification However, I have a few random comments that you…

What are the requirements to have VRFs discovered? I have a number of Cisco 2800, and the ones running VRFs have them discovered. At the same time, on my Cisco 1800s VRFs are not discovered, not even on the ones running more current software.

Got all three right today. Actually reading all the answers before answering helps
-
I think it would be great if the web console of our installation itself gave hints on which elements could be upgraded without breaking compatibility.
-
Things look a bit different than usually. For days 1 and 2, I can submit the correct answer repeatedly and then submit my username. For day 3, I can submit the correct answer repeatedly but no way to put in my username on the next screen with the submit button.

I'm referring to the relationship between the tables, like mentioned above and in the linked question. If you want to make a query involving two tables, the relationship is not documented — Sent from Mailbox for iPhone On Wed, Dec 11, 2013 at 2:46 AM, bluefunelemental

I understand your problem with having international participants winning the prizes with tax, customs, different laws and whatnot. May I suggest that you consider a drawing for points, an Engineer's Toolset license, a percentage discount on next license renewal or something other intangible for those not able to…
-
We normally receive the points, even if we are not allowed to participate in the drawing. So if you only participate in competitions to pay the bills, I suggest you adjust your budget or find another competition
-
It was also very cryptic to me but I managed to find the word after a lot of attempts.
-
Bonus points if the toolset could actually set up the capture on a router/switch/firewall that supports it, download the capture and optionally present it in a browser based wireshark.

Q20 Question and answer didn't make much sense together, so I took my best shot and received the following screen shot as result:
-
Does the interface duplex mismatch detection require that the interface is monitored?
-
When evaluating a new tool, whether it's as part of your existing tool portfolio or the new monolithic monster, always evaluate what it takes to get your existing data into the tool, what it will take to keep information current on an ongoing basis, and what people tend to forget, also what it takes to get the accumulated…

I can confirm that whatever did, fixed my problem. Thank you

Figured out the Grand Prize. I would have loved to win the prize, as some of it is very applicable to my current plans for the next year, but it seems I'm not eligible even for a prize of this character due to legal/geographical issues. I hope you will eventually be able to solve the legal issues for more parts of the…

Suddenly Q20 makes sense. Question and answers are now related and my answer was correct. Good luck to all the participants that can take part in the prize drawing!

Downloading routing tables by default sounds like a pretty dangerous thing to do, especially for routers with full internet BGP tables.

ZibaK, It looks like you will have an issue with both SAM, NTA, and NCM, if you want to run all of them on the latest version. If I understand the compatibility maxtrix and the upgrade paths correctly, your best bet is to do the upgrades as follows: NPM 10.7 SAM 6.1 NPM 11.0.1 NTA 4.1 NCM 7.3.2 NPM 11.5.X SAM 6.2 Phew!…

"My Ideas" link on each Feature Request page links to "something/#{username}/"something" instead of "something/svindler/"something" My guess is, there's a # in the source that's not supposed to be there...

Ready for next week's puzzle now
-
Exactly my conclusion as well. Unless of course both of these answers are wrong, and only one of the first choices are correct.
-
A little more challenge than usual what with the missing link and the faulty url but I managed to get through the questions.

cobrien?

Happy New Year, everyone! What, no restrictions on who can participate in the drawing?
-
Hmm, where are my bookmarks?
