Confirmed and reported to development team by SW tech support: I have talked to development team and confirmed that it is a bug. We even tried it on the new release which is the NPM 12.2 but they have the same result. Dev team has already filed a case for that and they will be looking into it. The only work around for now…

We have figured out that muting only work prior to the device going into an alert status. It does prevent the alert from being triggered, which obviously prevents all it's actions from triggering. It will not prevent alerts from being sent after the alert has been triggered. -S
