Tell me about the MVP program
-
i got it, i spotted the mistake
-
All the regular stuff CPU, memory, Interface Utilisation , volumes etc. All the jazzz associated with the Linux nodes
-
Yeah, We don't seem to have another option.
-
we logged a case and were told to uninstall and re-install after extensive troubleshooting. . Will check the forum.
-
Yes
-
got stuck here at the same place too...i was able to fix it though. Thanks
-
i created a different CP for the device and grouped the devices under it. i did the reverse for it, it is sorted for now.
-
will try this. Sorry to bother you , but is there a script i can run on DB to get it done?
-
every device is having a different name, cannot group it like this. slight problem with your solution. when i disable the poller it is removing the CPU and Memory entirely, not going back to the default like you mentioned, The screenshot below is from one of the device i removed
-
Thank you for your response, Is there a way i can group the devices that i want then disable the poller? just to be sure i don't disable it from the other devices using vinx.
-
I will try this, Can i add the name of the admin that onboarded it?
-
You should include India as well in the country you ship your products to, There is a big solarwinds community here too.
-
Is there an update on this?
-
No, this will give you the alert that the device will trigger..it will give you the panel i posted up there.
-
I tried this and results do look promising SELECT TOP 250 AlertObjectID, AlertID, EntityType, EntityCaption, Name, RelatedNodeId, Enabled FROM Orion AlertObjects ao inner join Orion AlertConfigurations ac on ac AlertID ao AlertID where EntityType like 'Orion. Nodes' --and enabled = 'True' --and RelatedNodeId like '7561'…
-
Please check if your DB server and Pollers are in the same timezone. If they are not, set them to the same time zone.
-
I want this ,
-
Didn't work
-
Let try this, will remove all spaces
-
Yep local machine
-
How are you planning to make sure that the devices on the Map are already on SolarWinds? The JSON file i have has an entire site on it. I am not even sure that those devices are there in the environment.
-
Yes, i did this. It's still not working.
-
I want to attempt it, I have a JSON Map file ready to go. Can i get the steps? Do i use API or is there something else i can try?
-
Doesn't this write tables into the DB?
-
I can have the api script looked at by someone, The upcoming sprint has nearly 500 devices all network snmp enabled devices. Would you be able to share the script with me?
-
Out of curiosity, What were the bugs and issues you noticed in 2023.3 , Could you please help me with that?
-
No, that's not it..we did it correctly, there are 2 separate for the offline and online installer on the customer portal.
-
We tried that , but it was asking for Internet connection , we do not have internet enabled on the servers.
-
Look at this, I don't think Solarwinds offline installer is supposed to as small as 115 Mb...The exe file when we run it, it requests for internet connection
