As general rule you should always be using the local admin account when installing software so that you bypass any permissions issues or problems with ACLs etc that might happen

if you have tried the steps above then provide local admin rights to that application has resolve the issue for some other users

Hi Tim, You will only be changing the Interface Remapped eventName in the EventType table. There is a separate column for up, down, unknown, etc you will see all of them when you look in that table. You will just be setting the this to zero in the record column (or unchecking it if using Orion database manager)
