Great post! Your comments are applicable to all situations just like cooking a turkey. I struggle with people that panic in situations. Always saying "what if this happens" or "what if that happens". My answer is always the same "we'll cross that bridge IF we get to it".

This is so true "What’s needed to keep your network running at its peak will change, so your plans need to adapt to keep up. Constantly reexamine your network to be sure that you’re addressing changes as they arise. Successful network management is a cyclical process, not a one-way journey"

Looks like Wyld Stallyns are slightly behind. I love the Muppets but Bill and Ted were most "excellent!"

Ah ok, I didn't click on the link. Sound like the question is broken

I'm running NCM 7.1.1 and if I select the Physical Entities (Serial Number) in the dropdown list, I can see the other switches in the stack. But I have still voted Yes on this as I think it would be good to see this info on the System Info drop down. That way you can quickly see how many switches in the stack.

I wish spammers would find something better to do with their time.

My interpretation is that there was only one answer that contained two items that were talked about slightly later in the video, and that was the original correct answer. As soon as some people answered incorrectly,…

Totally agree. If everyone had full access, it could lead to many issues. This goes without saying.

@"shuth" you make an appearance in yesterday's question!! Love your work

Bump smttysmth02gt why did you vote this down? Do you think having an undelete function is a bad idea? It's so easy to delete the wrong thing as I unfortunately found out the hard way.

Hahahaha, I forgot about that! It works sweet now. Thanks.

Great read, thanks for sharing.

Week 3 complete! But there's no link on Clue 13 (but I managed to work out answer anyways ) And the link on Clue 14 doesn't work (but I managed to find the right link). It was fun with a little less help.

You lost me at "shades of grey" Just kidding, great information. I'm not a security person either but it's nice learn about thi.

I'm glad to hear that SolarWinds is hitting the road again. You'll have to come down under again in the near future

Within our organisation we inform everyone of planned outages. We do these outages when it least impacts other department. But the worst part is not many read the outage notifications so then try and complain if they were affected by the outage.

Welcome to the team!!

I'll go with this analogy

Welcome back and Hello. I enjoy reading your past posts but post when and if you have time. I don't have as many (actually I don't have any) online commitments as you so it's easy to be in here a lot.

I didn't think the slurpee by drone was serious but I was wrong. Here in Australia they are now delivering Pizza via a robot! DRU - Domino's Robotic Unit - Autonomous Delivery Vehicle I guess anything is possible.

All the best!!

There was no option for "I was certified but it expired"

Yeah I agree. We got on the Cisco WAAS bandwagon instead of using Riverbeds. It ended up being a big flop and we are now on Riverbeds.

I feel so inadequate. I only have 2 x 19" monitors. I do however have a Beatles calendar and some smurfs.

I currently use a physical server with Orion loaded on C drive. It has remote storage D: drive which has the NCM database on it. And the whole thing connects to a SQL cluster. What's the best way to go to make this a virtual server? I'm happy for no redundancy if the server is virtual. But I'm not sure what's the best way…

Thwack is looking great. ThwackCamp was awesome! Thanks for the big effort you all put in!

Best I get is an email after the job has been completed stating "Thanks for all your help." When there was more money to throw around and you completed a big project, the boss would pick up the tab for a dinner for 2.
