Layered approach is where it's at but I find that when all those departments are separated, then it's really up to each section to make sure they are doing their bit.

Very nice but Father's Day here in Australia isn't until September

Thanks for the articles as always! And Merry Christmas to you too!!

The survey results make for interesting reading. It's good to see that Rock pretty much rules and that Aussie's prefer iPhones

I don't understand why anyone would vote no to any suggestion. I think they should remove the vote down option.

Yeah a recording of this session would be very usefull.

Yeah it's a real bugger when people get trained up and they leave. I remember in my previous job they wanted me to do a CNE but I had to sign a contract that I wouldn't leave within 3 years of gaining my CNE. I did get my CNE and I did leave before the 3 years. Main reason was that they were way underpaying me. I did ask…

Love the "when the tickets just keep coming" GIF! I feel sorry for that person. It's disappointing to read about the camera disabling device. When I go to concerts, I always like to take a couple of pics as a memento of the show. I wish that I had this technology when I saw all those bands in my youth. I remember sneaking…

Great post! Your comments are applicable to all situations just like cooking a turkey. I struggle with people that panic in situations. Always saying "what if this happens" or "what if that happens". My answer is always the same "we'll cross that bridge IF we get to it".

This is so true "What’s needed to keep your network running at its peak will change, so your plans need to adapt to keep up. Constantly reexamine your network to be sure that you’re addressing changes as they arise. Successful network management is a cyclical process, not a one-way journey"

Looks like Wyld Stallyns are slightly behind. I love the Muppets but Bill and Ted were most "excellent!"

I'm running NCM 7.1.1 and if I select the Physical Entities (Serial Number) in the dropdown list, I can see the other switches in the stack. But I have still voted Yes on this as I think it would be good to see this info on the System Info drop down. That way you can quickly see how many switches in the stack.

I wish spammers would find something better to do with their time.

My interpretation is that there was only one answer that contained two items that were talked about slightly later in the video, and that was the original correct answer. Totally agree. If everyone had full access, it could lead to many issues. This goes without saying.

@"shuth" you make an appearance in yesterday's question!! Love your work

Bump smttysmth02gt why did you vote this down? Do you think having an undelete function is a bad idea? It's so easy to delete the wrong thing as I unfortunately found out the hard way.

Hahahaha, I forgot about that! It works sweet now. Thanks.

Great read, thanks for sharing.

Week 3 complete! But there's no link on Clue 13 (but I managed to work out answer anyways ) And the link on Clue 14 doesn't work (but I managed to find the right link). It was fun with a little less help.

I'm glad to hear that SolarWinds is hitting the road again. You'll have to come down under again in the near future
