I've only got 481 nodes in my NCM database and when I do a search on community I get a "hit" on all the configs. Maybe there's a bug with higher number of nodes in NCM. I would suggest to log a case with Solarwinds for it.

We use Opsgenie which is an "email to SMS" service here. So I just generate an email in Solarwinds and the email goes to Opsgenie that converts it into a SMS message.

The problem is due to you selecting "Search whole word only". You are searching for a number so leave that box unticked and you will get your results.

It's because the unmonitored traffic is so high, you don't see the lower traffic in your graph. Untick the unmonitored traffic box and you should see all the other traffic then.

I remember doing the same thing back in the day! With the new syslog viewer it comes with a build in rule now that unfortunately can't be modified. But I would assume if you copied these details into a new rule (with the updated log entry check), it should work?

You could go into Manage Nodes and change Show to Interfaces. Then you can select them all and click on Edit Properties.

I agree with the IT director. I only do backups weekly. I also use Realtime Config Change Detection so it will backup the running config when someone makes a change. I would do nightly backups if more than 50% of the configs changed on a daily basis. Then I would not use Realtime Detection.

Just to be clear, you are getting this issue with every single node in your setup? Do the devices pass the SNMP test? Go to Manage Nodes, select a node and click on Edit Properties. Then half way down the page there's a Test button.
