Hi Doug Things I have found helpful are scripts that members have done to download configs from certain devices. And reading solutions users have offered other users, I have found that some of these have actually helped me get more out of the product. As they've offered another way of doing things etc. An inside in 'what's…

Interesting theory. Only downside I see with using Logs, the device will have to send out every bit of information in the log file or it would need to be configured to just send out the logs for the information you wish you see such as CPU utilization. There may be overhead issues if the device has to send out every single…

Yeah I don't think anyone saw how popular this game was going to be. I mean how many adults were into pokemons before this game?

I worked that night from about 8pm till about 3am just to make sure everything was ok. It was a fun night. There were a number of staff on hand. At midnight we watched the fireworks from the roof of the building. Then when went inside to see if anything was broken. All was good

It will become active when the time zone matches. Try again in a few hours and it will work.

Where do you see the point information? When I click on my points total, it takes me straight into the store. I can't find where to see my point activities.

Yes the other answer does fit but the question was "Monitored by the first webcam at Cambridge University". Google shows the answer to be - The Very First Webcam Was Invented to Keep an Eye on a Coffee Pot at Cambridge University So coffee pot does not fit. What is a synonym for coffee pot? There is your answer.

Sweet! I haven't won anything as yet but I'll keep trying. At least now with Australia eligible for prices, I'm in with a shot. All green ticks for the 3 weeks

Why a bye? People voted for him for a reason, not just "because". It was a legit win.

Everyone should just enjoy it for what it is. So what if you get a question wrong. It's not like your life depends on it. And it's not like you've paid to enter this competition. Personally I'm getting a bit sick of the whinging when questions don't make 100% sense. Just go with it and live a little.

This one was from Dec 2018 but things like this come up a fair bit so just keep a look out.

I always look forward to the new info dished out at ThwackCamp. Unfortunately due to my timezone, I can't watch it all live. But I'll never forget 2017 in Austin! I noticed a small snippet of that event in the video

I'm one of the people that never formally studied any kind of IT. I got a job as a computer salesperson in early 1989. I had no computer experience whatsoever other than some basic stuff at school. I worked there for 6 years in which time it became evident I was not a very good salesperson but I did alright at fixing and…

This is so true. I've seen it countless times where DR stuff has been installed but when push comes to shove, it doesn't work. So pointless then really.

Basically we have the unlimited version of IPAM so we give each department their own section in IPAM but they can't import their spreadsheets unless they are an admin. This means they could then go into the other sections and mess it up. I'd like to be able to make them admins of their own sections so that they can do what…
