I've just completed up to question 6. All of them were pretty straight forward but question 5 also had me stumped for ages. I just started randomly guessing words until I got the right one

It was straight forward. I didn't realise anyone was having issues until I started reading these posts. I just answered and got it right.

Hooray for new mission! I still can't get used to not seeing who replied to who. It's just all listed down as it came in. Makes reading down the list confusing. And people need to take a chill pill. No need for negativity. My mum always said, if you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

I'm wishing for home security cameras. And I'm also looking for a new TV PVR.

I love my Apple iPhones but I hate their Mac's etc. My phone is a work supplied one so I don't really worry about it. It works fine for what I need. I currently have an iPhone 7.

Scooby scooby dooooooo!

I wouldn't call it a win

Another great set of articles. Love the pic as well.

I was going to add this as a feature request but saw this one here already. I really need to be able to have say a super admin and then admin access to the different modules. Up until recently, our Solarwinds setup was purely for network only. But now we have VM and SRM meaning that I have to give users full access to…

I'm in. I'll stock up on coffee and stay up all night.

Yup it's the same for me, link doesn't work. I said yes though as I didn't want to forget to answer the question

I think it's a given that you run some good Service Desk software if you want things to run smoothly and efficiently.
-
Nah, it should just be instant so that it can be made quickly and efficiently

Great selection of articles!

Worst idea ever. Better idea would just be to remove the vote down option. It's kinda like "if you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all". And one thing I've noticed is that new members tend to go through all the ideas, polls etc just to get Thwack points. So polls from years ago that are no longer relevant…

They sure were funny videos! It was email in the olden days

We rolled out VOIP about 4 years ago. A checklist was made at the time along the lines that you've mentioned. VOIP DHCP scopes were created, PoE was installed & user manuals were created. Then we rolled out the phones and changed each extension to an IP one. The whole setup was pretty painless. Just some prep work at the…

Happy birthday Thwack!! I was a little confused at first as some years ago I won a Solarwinds 20th hoodie but then I realised this post was about Thwack not Solarwinds. And I'm wearing my hoodie each day as it's winter here currently. Congrats on this milestone!

Just posted in Spread The Word.

Yeah very handy when working remotely on a device and all of the sudden you loose contact to it due to a bad command.
-
Me too and got the green tick as well.

Buy Solarwinds!

Great idea!

Totally agree and thank you for putting this information up.

Whilst Solarwinds is primarily our networking tool, I do allow all the other teams read access to all the data. So if the Wintel team gets complaints about slow access to one of their servers, they are able to check the network to see if the issue is there. I've created some easy to read dashboards, so issues are spotted…

Awesome!

I too got it right.
