Bugger I missed this post. Finally one month I have all green and I get pipped at the post and not re-fill out the survey. Ah well, now there is August to have another shot :)

Haha, did you give her extra batteries??

Welcome! And see you around the board

Thanks for the informative writeup. I was not aware of most of that. It all looks pretty good. Although here at work, we are moving towards google apps. Long term I assume it spells the end of Microsoft Office for us. Time will tell.

It's amazing how many people still fall for the simple "click on the link" malware. It doesn't matter how many times you tell them, they will still click. It's like sending outage notifications - they never read them and then complain that they "didn't know" there was a scheduled outage.

Great post! I'm not one for hacking but I always like to find ways to simplify things.

Australia can help you with that

Hooray all green ticks!

I'd rather see a non-sci battle like Kightrider versus The Dukes of Hazzard. Sorry but I just can't get into any sci-fi stuff at all.

Yup I got stung as well.

You're in luck Bob!

Congrats to the winners!

It pays to be vigilant.

This is exactly what I was about to write. Right from the word go, I've been committed to dropping noise. The less I'm alerted the better. Only other thing I do always is to create alerts when an issue occurred and we didn't 'notice'. If that issue occurs again, we'll know that time.

Clean desk dude! A few more pictures would liven up the place

I remember we had the BBC computers at school. We'd buy magazines at the newsagent that had basic code to make games. So that's what we'd do at lunch time. It was a pain if you made a typo somewhere in the code! But the games were always cool to play. Well cool back then.

I have been to Trafalgar Square but that was back in 2000. I hope to get back there one day in the future.

I think it's a cut and paste fail.

I agree with the breach by a cloud vendor. I think that will happen as well.

Netflow is great! I used to manually look on the router to see who was hogging the bandwidth but it was reactive. Now with netflow, I can see who is doing what and when. I've set up an alert to let me know if any of my links are over 90% utilisation for a continuous 10 mins. If so, then I get an email with a hyperlink…

Looks like it was a great event! I'll have to continue to enjoy these from afar

That question was super easy!

I would love to come! I love Texas :) Unfortunately it's a bit far from Australia. Enjoy the world tour! Rock on.

As far as I know, they don't sell that here in Australia. At least I've never seen it in the cereal isle.
-
This is great! In my current environment I don't have any WLC's or AP's but previously this was something that annoyed me no end.

There should be a Bacon Anonymous. You're all too obsessed with bacon. That's not healthy

Day 10 question came live today as it has the wrong date set.

Done!

I have to remember to log on each day, to put my vote in. Been a bit busy and haven't had time to get my Thwack fix until today. Anyways I'm on it now
