Need to add this feature in the next version of Solarwinds for monitoring the Virtual chassis of all Juniper devices and to capture STP port changes in the Switches

I have huge number of groups so if i mention one map, same map is getting reflected in all the groups.
-
Lets say in my environment i have 800+ stores and each store has 10 to 12 devices which includes Router, switch, WLC, AP. Corresponding devices are added as a group for each store my requirement is need to create individual maps for each stores and need to map the exact map for each store group For eg : My store name is…

Agree to your point, but simultaneously i need both tools to work and monitor the environment. There will be test go in the environment by keep another tool standby , so would not be able to disable the monitoring from solarwinds I have added only the connected interfaces to the monitoring and these are high end switches…

for each vendor devices created new poller to populate the device information with the help of individual MIB value. Thanks for your support

I tried this option but was not working and i am saying it for Juniper and 3Com devices which are not populating the information. Will there be any requirement to add MIB of those devices to the MIB database to have it worked. If so any updated MIB files will help to get those informations

Thanks it worked well :-)

Can i have the default trap template for solarwinds in trigger actions
-
Thanks Vinay and pratik From the Netcool team, they needed only 3 traps which needs to be sent to the MTTrapd. SolarWinds needs to send SNMP traps in usual way ... but not forward every trap it receives. SolarWinds needs to automatically trigger a script that will pass details on to Netcool for a subset of devices/alerts…

We have already created multiple groups without using cusom properties, we need to create each single map with topology. need your inputs is that possible to drag and drop the appropriate location map in each group. i tried but when i refresh the page it saves the last map in all groups.

Yes i have disabled those switches , automatically CPU utilization got reduced. There is another tool is also polling these devices via SNMP , once solarwinds is live it will be decommissioned

Hi Rschroeder, Thanks for your prompt response with the details. In our estate, we have mixed vendor network devices (Cisco, Juniper & 3Com) with different standards of IOS images. From the compliance view, need your support to share the way to find & compare the market (GA) available IOS images with the devices…
