It's not yet directly supported. I don't think the PowerVault monitor will work because PowerStore uses an API for monitoring, but crazier things have happened. I'll try to test this next week.

Haha. Me, too, @"the_ben_keen" !

I was expecting and hoping for the same! Have given feedback during UX sessions and in this feature request, so hopefully we'll see it soon.

Impressive show of support for "The Customer." Well done, SolarWinds and Microsoft.

I've missed several months of missions and am excited to get back into them! These Qs and the prizes look great!

I am a big fan of this idea, while also wondering about use cases. From the comments that I read, it sounds like some of the requests may be better suited to using a tool like Ansible. At a really high level, Terraform is great for building infrastructure, and then Ansible good for doing things to (or with) that…

Can't wait!

DBAs have a SQL "monitoring" product and are not interested in migrating to a different platform.

Thanks for sharing! This was a great idea for a team post. Let's hear everyone else's favorites, too! Here are a few of mine: * Levar Burton Reads - It's what the title says. :) Levar reads his favorite short stories, most often speculative fiction. It's rare that I do not find his selections poignant, funny, inspiring,…

Yes, possibly base a report on any place in AD where permissions are not inherited.

Soft deletes? Yes, please.

Sold. Voted!

Oh snap! How did I miss this post? Is the module now GA? Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this update!

Bumped again!

@"russp" The same thing happened to me. I checked the [number redacted] that I know were the correct answers, and when I submitted, the response said "____ is not correct," citing a product name that I did not select. @"yumdarling", I would be happy to confirm the answers that I sumbitted if you could please change my…

Just to bump this, I would also like to be able to ignore (specific components on specific nodes) during discovery, such as a particular volume that you do not want managed. That might be a separate feature request, but it's the natural follow-up to this one.

designerfx wrote: cobrien we should talk about this, as most of the information is available via the new SAM API poller. I'm able to poll the health of Netscalers now. Would still love to see it integrated but this tells me it can be done very simply. (FYI marcrobinson bmoline ibageek API polling works, yo.) That is…

1st: expanded load balancer environment monitoring 2nd: traffic conversation deduplication 3rd: visual firewall connection mapping

Curious if you could be more specific about depcreated crypto with the Remote enabler tool for PowerShell. It's not perfect--it uses self-signed certs and might default to port 5895 instead of port 5986, but that's still encrypted. Either way, it still seems a far cry better for any Windows endpoints, no?

Title...banner pic...I can already tell this is going to be an amazing monthly mission!

Upvoted, BUT something to consider: the Orion agent service runs as local system, whereas WMI monitoring accounts will only have local administrator. (Anyone who has made the effort to delegate granular permissions for WMI monitoring will have less privileges than administrator, and deserves kudos.) It's a subtle…

Haha, I like this a lot! It lives somewhere between duck tape and smoke & mirrors, elegant and janky. Great idea!
-
It sounds like what you're looking for might be on the "Managed Assigned Application Monitors" page in SAM Settings. The URL would look like https://ServerName/Orion/APM/Admin/Applications/Default.aspx and this page has an option to group by node name.

Congrats to all of the winners.

I'm curious what would distinguish this from the site login text setting. Would the difference be that an explicit acceptance before proceeding would be added before the first logon?

Mission [mostly] complete. Have a great weekend, everybody!

I mean, props still for the amazing 404 page, SW peeps!
