I agree with Jeremy - this needs to be a select all that apply. For myself I I mostly utilise "The Register" or occasionally I follow links via LinkedIn.

Hmmmm bacon.
-
@"kpina" and/or @"ChrystalT" - Houston, we have a problem.
-
Seconded ... mesverrum - any idea when these steps will be cimpleted?
-
@"SaraClark" I have an online test scheduled next month and these "issues" raised about PSI are unbelievable. I have never been good at "doing exams" (lots of reasons, won't bore you here). I also suffer with a dry throat and always carry water with me, and have been told by PSI I'm not allowed water during the exam. I…

It's, unfortunately, a matter of time. I already have a day job and this has all been heaped on as "additional duties". Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the challenge but at present the challeneg is beyond my scope and certainly beyond available time.I'm going to read and re-read your replies and see if I can persuade…

Sadly that doesn't work - gives me a 404. Also clicking the May10th the actual button is the same. Paging @"kpina"

Also useful to have as a part of this request would be: multi line CPs that allow you to use (and obey) carriage returns, and other text markup.
-
As a n00b organisation to Solarwinds this is definitely something we'd like to see - come on guys, it's been on the cards since 2014 how about actually implementing it?
-
@"joshyaf" yes we have done this but outside of the mission as we had a review with a SWI techy. So, log into your customer portal, then using the link above will take you to the relevant page. Right at the bottom you will see: Ours took slightly longer than 24hrs IIRC, but it is a very readable report. Well worth it IMO.

I say bring back Yum. Didn't have this many issues when she was running the contests - or not that I recall in rosy hindsight

Zoey - not Zoe ... bah.

THERE is a MAJOR [IMHO] bug/fault in 2024.2 if you are a heavy user of [cough] Intelligent Maps [IM] If you currently use IM, and you use one of the $variables to aid in assigning maps i.e. these: In 2024.2, this does NOT work. In fact its behaviour is completely different to any other widget. For most widgets it either…

Hmm v.odd. Clicking the link for day 10 and getting the 404, then editing the 10 to a 5 works.

> What do I need to be 100% sure is in my checked luggage? Everything from shorts to arctic weather survival clothing. This is the UK and weather is a national obsession as it changes minute to minute.

Oct 11th / Day 7 hint would be better served by this page: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/scm/content/scm-gsg-out-of-the-box-profiles.htm

This FR also needs to ensure it includes stacked devices that "look like" a single IP/node and larger tech such as 6500's or Nexus or APICs that have multiple embedded serials for master cards, etc
-
Maybe a dull question, but I've now found out how to add these to a map thanks to the wonders of my pal Mr Google. However, when I subsequently add a UnDP to a map, does it alert like a node, or do we now need to build a specific alert for the UnDPs? If yes, can someone talk me through the logic in use or a screenshot of…

Diolch yn fawr Kristen. Sad yo see some names have dropped away, but welcome to all new MVPs.

↑ THIS and I'm not into memes and avoid them where I can.
-
THanks for the info - good to see some of the big name tech companies stepping up. Like a few others above, I have been working from home one day a week anyway. Stepping this up to a permananet thing until the situation changes is a no brainer, and I find I get far more done as I get less distractions. I do wonder when my…

LOL - see. It doesn't / didn't work

However, as Bruce Schneier has said for years: "Open Source DOES NOT equal Secure". In his words: https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2020/12/open-source-does-not-equal-secure.html

@"KMSigma.SWI" and/or @"robear007" .... today (day 3) gave me an Oops saying a certain set of logs didn't need monitoring, but I didn't tick that box.

KPina has responded about this:

Other: It's in the wrong time zone

As a newbie to Solarwinds this is, IMO, a default expectation and sad to see it isn't. What's worse is that this request has been around since 2013 and still hasn't been implemented!
-
Not bragging but .... these are a nightmare to manage
-
@"yumdarling"have I misunderstood the process behind the monthly competitions? I ask, as in prior months (only the last two I've taken part in) the weekly prizes were not awarded until the end of the month allowing those of us that are busy or otherwise elsewhere (in my case, holiday and starting foster caring two baby…

I also love a good Malbec, but in a pinch pretty much any red will do. Congrats on the "new" role KP.
