I'm probably mis-understanding but you create the group by using the custom property.
-
Have you seen this report: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/content-exchange/the-orion-platform/m/custom-queries/3058 - this would cover off nodes, and with a little adaptation could be re-used for interfaces. Alternatively I have had some luck with the use of DISTINCT
-
In the select line you need to add the table for node caption, then it will appear in your results so that you can add the column. It should look like this: SELECT TOP 100 I.Node.Caption, I.InterfaceCaption,I.InErrorsToday,I.OutErrorsToday,I.DetailsUrl

Can you not use Netpath ?

Have a look at this KB Article: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Set-up-Orion-SMS-or-email-alerts?language=en_US or you could use a third party solution such as:…

You have to manually enter your column sizes when editing the individual widgets. For example: You will probably have to do some trial and error, but you do NOT have to set every column, just the ones you want to "shrink" or "expand".
-
Ahh right ... in which case you just need to edit your WHERE query... So something like: WHERE InterfaceCaption LIKE '%nc-%'

OK - 2022.4.x is very, very buggy and is causing all sorts of odd issues so it is entirely feasible that this is one such. I know you aren't going to like this based on prior comments, but you could try asking support if it is a known bug and when will it be fixed.

And the answers to my two questions are ...?

We are waiting for the GA, but hoping when we do upgrade that it fixes some annoying little issues. For eg 2022.4.x has broken a number of our modern dashboards as it doesn't run the code correctly!
-
Is it this bit: ...you are trying to get populated? And what version is your SolarWinds? We use the above widget, but have also created a second widget to pull in specific CPs that we don't display in the default one.
-
You need to ensure you have the xxx.DetailsUrl record in your select statement - where xxxx. = nodes or interfaces accordingly. Then in the edit box for the relevant section, ensure it looks something like:
-
If it's bright and shiny you want, for management to go "ohh and Ahh" over, then modern dashboards are definitely the way to do it. As an example, we run SolarWinds with multiple clients monitored/managed via it and so the "Top 10" is utterly meaningless. As soon as MD's came along, I was able to create client specific…

I've not done this with routing neighbour. So if I understand you request then to simplify alerts we create a custom property which is named as we see fit and contains the relevant objects. Then simply reference this CP in the alert

I'm pretty sure there isn't one single file or web page out there that is: Table Name Use A.Table.Name Defines a table for x However, I've found one of the easiest solutions is to fire up SWQL Studio, find the table you want and run a query (right click generate select statement) against it. So in your example: Gives me:…

I think the op means device poller such as CPU & Mem, rather than a UnDP. @"edgarbonnell" I believe if it is a default poller that this is correct and you can only 'duplicate & edit'. If it is one you have created then you should be allowed to edit that until, as you have found out, you assign it. I don't know if…

We never used / utilised the old trap viewer/manager but I distinctly recall seeing a post from someone that did use it and they were told: "yup, we deprecated that and the replacement doesn't have all the features it had and oh, BTW, we want you to pay to access most of it now" I recall thinking at the time it was either…

Let me throw a question back at you... is it worthless info, or is it just info that you have not discovered or will never use in your environment? The exams are not open book. But as to value, surely that's for you to decide, but as @"adam.beedell" points out he has seen it as a requirement. YMMV

Pretty sure those sections are hard coded and no amount of S(W)QL will overcome it - so I suspect you will need to raise a Feature Request - over here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/network-performance-monitor-npm/i/feature-requests

Interesting question, and one I don't know the answer to. But let me suggest here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/the-orion-platform/f/orion-sdk might get more traction as that is where some of the API guys hang out and as they deal with the DB schema for fun may have a more solid answer. That or tech support…

I'm not 100% clear on what you are trying to attempt, but for me this bit: is over-complicating matters. Unless you want to have a specific set of conditions apply to your ASA interfaces, then I would just use a more general interface down alert, and as such I would set the scope to be on 'all objects'. I'm wondering if…

No worries. For the record, the MIBs doesn't not need to be added for you to create a UnDP. See the MIB and OID Gotcha's section in this KB: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Add-MIBs-to-the-SolarWinds-MIB-database?language=en_US

Orion Maps DOES NOT yet support the capability to associate a map to a group. I say yet - that should be hopefully coming. Meanwhile you can try @"frak" workaround detailed here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/content-exchange/the-orion-platform/m/custom-html/3438 but do note this doesn't work on 2022.4.x as it appears…

As far as I know modern dashboards don't time out themselves - but the logged in user may well have a session timeout. If that's what you mean then you will need to go into all settings > user settings > manage accounts, then find the relevant account (or group) and adjust the timeout enabled/disabled option.
-
Starting with the easy answer - Fatpipe isn't one of the manufacturers that SolarWInds has "invested" in. That would be Cisco, Juniper, F5 territory. What you can do is find the relevant OIDs for what you want to monitor, and then create Universal Device Pollers (UnDPs) using the standalone UnDP executable SolarWinds…
