Hi - what report are you running for this? If a custom built report can you share it here and finally, when you say "not getting" then in what format / approach are you expecting to get the report? Via eMail, saved to disk, etc ...?

Any clues in the switch logs? You could try doing the same "pull" (I presume you mean config backup?) but with trace turned on. See here for trace instructions if never used: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Generate-session-trace-logs?language=en_US and here for reading 'how to read':…

We don't have any VRTX's but the Dell switches we have are so like Cisco in the command structure that you could be mistaken for thinking you are working on Cisco kit. Anyway, the VRTX CLI Reference Guide shows the commands for SNMP config to be just like Cisco. Once setup, the SolarWinds side will be easy.

Asking a question about the store in the NCM sub-forum is not the best place to do so. Instead I'd suggest either here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/resources/thwack-command-center/f/forum or by reaching out to: thwackstore@solarwinds.com FWIW I have had XL size shirts from the store, it is just a matter of checking back…

Agreed and it is the same in HCO 2023.3.0 - it also does not have Orion.Alerts. But (non HCO) 2023.2.1 does.
-
Apologies for that - I was dealing with something else and distracted myself [Ohh shiny]... But same principle.
-
As NA is under a deprecation notice then there will be no more development on that side - of that we can be certain. Sadly Orion Maps doesn't have heatmaps yet but one can hope that they will actually be fit for purpose if and when.
-
Hi - yes that's what I said when I said: "Are you referring to the flyout on the left hand side". Ok - so you can add your own views to that flyout - click on the pencil icon (top left) and then add page. You then set about adding the widgets you want. Alternatively you could "Edit Node" and then change the view type - or…

Some more detail please? What Make & Model and what have you tried so far? Do you mean monitor with SNMP or ..?
-
I'd raise this with your account manager or support to see if things have changed - but last time** I had this conversation with SolarWInds they couldn't do topology for the Nexus kit. ** that was almost 2yrs ago to the day - things may have changed, but as I recall the issue was with the Cisco side as it doesn’t actually…

Hey @"Bashar.aleisa" just an FYI on heatmaps in Network Atlas. These are not "live" maps but rather a one shot and done. So when you generate the heatmap it is accurate (as it can be) at that point in time. It doesn't constantly update in real time, or even near real time, to show the current state of play.

We have approx 50 Catalyst 9300's and SolarWInds recognises them out of the box. What exactly are you not seeing as I'm not clear on what you refer to when you say "switch view tab" ? Are you referring to the flyout on the left hand side - and if so, then you can add/remove views to suit. That said, I still don't know what…

To clarify ... are you looking to: 1. Show a combined output of both CPU's averaged out ..? or 2. Show both CPU's on a single report And next, did you just want the data shown in % or as a graph? For example we have a client based report on their F5 CPU Load on a n hourly basis - the logic is this: In the Edit Resource…

I can't even get that query in the linked page to run in SWQL Studio (nor a widget) s0 it's possible the backend has changed structure. In the meantime can you share what code you have done so far? And secondly I'll tag in Marlie @"marlief22" to see if she's around to assist.

We have nothing in that path and TBH until your post hadn't even spotted it and neither have we used Log Adjuster. Based on that and the KB article would suggest you can safely delete any files there. I'd recommend raising a ticket with support to get their input if at all unsure.
-
Have a look at these two KB articles: 1. https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Node-status-is-Warning?language=en_US - if you are not on 2020.2.1 or newer then there is a potential bug that should be fixed from that version and newer.…

Nice - we use something very similar except your CP owner we replace with client = ...

The yellow highlighted bit is a "platform wide" default. It can be changed but lowering it would likely impact your DB server massively. Bear in mind this is not about how often it is polling the end node to detect faults, but just for collection of statistics. Said stats do not need to be collected as often as a fault…

That said - I have taken a look at our current output and the report "as is" shows we have 3 devices that are configured for backup but have never had a backup. The status column shows 1, 9, and 9 - so UP, unmanaged and unmanaged. The "latest" column shows NULL. So it is all there, but you may need to massage the code to…

Hi, and welcome to the glory and pain that is reporting with SQL/SWQL in SolarWinds, and where nothing comes as easy as you hoped or were sold it would! So, I have been through this pain, and with a lot of blood, sweat and swearing I achieved both of your asks though they are not in a single report. That said, you could…

I'm not fully understanding. You say: "HCO is monitoring the firewall interfaces for both ISP's" and then you say support says: "HCO doesn't monitor the interface itself". Either I'm misreading or there is some confusion. First. To monitor interfaces you need to monitor the node via SNMP. If that is true, then a 'list…
-
I've not seen a report for that and certainly there isn't an OOB one for it. I suspect you would need to go down the create a UnDP route, and once you have them in the DB via that you could then report on them.
-
Hi Akash, you'd almost certainly get a better response by asking the question here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/support/academy/f/scp But also tagging in @"SaraClark"
-
Clearly your SQL skills are better than mine, but it looks like you need to do a JOIN at some point to be able to add additional fields.
-
Yes, I get that. The question was why? But see above - configure with SNMP and then add to NPM.
-
I'd be asking what's the point of monitoring something as ephemeral as a computer NIC? What's the end goal? But as Marc points out, configure the laptop with SNMP and then add to NPM.
-
We back our FP's up (they are 2140's) using the generic "Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance" template. Give that a try but make sure you check the config is what you expect it to be.
-
In the SNMP walk, do you see the result you expect or something else? If you do, then I'd open a case with support to look into this.
-
I think the answer to this is down to how restrictive your server infra is. We run ours with an admin account created specifically for this purpose. We haven't tried restricting it to see what would happen though.
