  • I'm only an EVAL user at this time so can't open a Support ticket. stewie
  • No. At the time I was hoping to use this field to display dynamically somehow as our servers were being migrated from physical to virtual. I couldn't find any way to do it so constructed separate Virtual and Physcal column displays using custom properties and manual updates on a daily basis through the migration period. A…
  • I am seeing the same problem. Did not see this in v9.0 I have added the Traps Summary resource to the Network Summary Home page. This gives a useful summary of Traps senders sorted high to low (I EDIT to Group Summary Report by Hostname) clicking on any of the resultant hostnames or count displayed will show ALL traps for…
  • Hello I have seen the problem here too however I previously evaluated NPM v9.1 and was sure I had stats from all fibre interfaces. I have reinstalled 9.1(w/sp5) eval and sure enough, I have a pair of brocades, 1 with 10 character MACs, the other with 12. In 9.1 both devices display correctly and all stats are seen across…

Using a Custom field or text is static data and tedious, though I went through the exercise to see how a Physical vs.Virtual report might look. Making use of…
  • I went through all of the problems the CRN reveiwer had and more. I recently evaluated as many as 10 Network Monitoring applications and would not have persisted with the Orion installation issues but on paper the product appeared to best meet our monitoring needs. Encounted major frustrations getting around the SQL…
  • It updates for me. I was watching yesterday (in Orion) when a third party was reconfiguring a switch - Cisco 2950. I received an Event notice: 11/11/2008 02:28 PM On node switch-xxx3 interface name was changed from FastEthernet0/4 - Frontend xx.xx.xx.xx to FastEthernet0/4 - Servername xx.xx.xx.xx FE ... when the interface…
