They went with the radio to check conversion - the more elegant solution.

It was showing a configuration comparison between a prior date and today. It's a way to know if something has changed compared to a baseline. In the example, something did change and you get to see the baseline value along with the new.

I appreciate your very civil response to my response to your response. Er, or something. My month will be whatever it turns out to be. This site has no bearing on said month outside of maybe 5 minutes per workday (ok, sometimes I slack and have to do, like, 3 questions in a day and that can take more than 5 minutes, but,…

Maybe I'll just email my SW sales guy right now and tell him "No, I didn't actually want to be contacted. Trust me, the insane amount of emails you send me already are more than enough".
-
I think today's was fine. If you read/search you'll find what's not there.
-
So this was another "select all that apply" that didn't say "select all that apply"?
-
I suggest you review the hint again. You'll see what's up once you do.

One time this month I just went for it without thinking and one time this month I got the red X. Good mission so far, really enjoying it.

I got it right (both times). The issue is that I originally answered correctly according to the question and answer you presented. That's not my fault. I agree with resets for those who got it wrong because of the mistake but making folks who got it right (again, they got it correct the first time through no fault of their…

It's never too early for whisky. Just go with a nice breakfast whisky. Something Speyside, perhaps? A Glenlivet Captain's Reserve would do wonderfully. Maybe a Glenfiddich Solera or even a Balvenie 15. A Dalmore 12 would work if you'd rather have a Highland. Me? I like the Islay stuff so I'm thinking it'd be the ol'…

They use that one a lot. Hopefully folks have been paying attention.

Worked OK for me.

Here's the pertinent info:

Not me, I didn't answer Friday's question until Monday. But ... at least I improved your odds! And yeah, the prizes this month rule!

Have to say I'm a little disappointed. Three videos in a row and none with a transcript. I know this is all free and for funsies but it's still kinda lame.
-
I have no idea how Nessie got this far. Let's hope folks do the right thing this time 'round. Dragon FTW.

Wait ... that last statement (in the graphic) needs more evidence. Star Trek fans talking about Star Wars 3.8x more than the revers doesn't necessarily indicate fandom. It could be Trek fans ripping on SW instead. Bad research is bad ... or infographic is poorly supported.

Drop one of the "e"s and you've got it:

For the record, I was using: It would not load.

Just looked at the Elio thing. It's definitely interesting for the price point ... and the fact that it doesn't look terrible. Might not be a bad ride considering I've always wanted to build an F100 but, you know, not drive it every day. Something like this would be a pretty good every day kinda thing.

Not sure where I said I took offense, but ok. I just don't like it. I come here to have fun, if I'm not having fun then there's no point. The questions are too easy - it's been like the first thing you see on the screen every time (almost?) so you don't even need to scroll and the snide comments don't land well in my…

Chrome Version 64.0.3282.167 (Official Build) (64-bit) works as well.

My sister in law had one. She eventually got rid of it for a sport utility after my first nephew was born. Wanted all wheel drive. She liked the car, though. I just don't like the way they look. They're also not as environmentally friendly as they're touted to be (the manufacturing process has some really nasty bits to it…

Meh, for the record I thought things were A-OkeyDokey this go-round.
-
To prevent any later complaints: "No" is the first option, people. I know a lot of us probably would expect it to be second.

I used to work in retail. PCI 3.0 was on the horizon and it required quite a bit of network redesign. We were told that running IP phones on a voice VLAN was no longer compliant even though the traffic was encrypted. We went with a VRF solution to get around it which required replacing a lot of aggregation layer gear. Oh,…

DoD folks:

Thanks for the tip!

Again - and this is the last time I'm going to address this (no offense, I just think I've spent enough time repeating myself) - how would the SolarWinds staff possibly be able to write a question with answers that depend upon each of our personal circumstances? They can't. What you do/think/feel are wholly irrelevant to…

Yeah I don't do the video thing either - especially when they're like 10 mins plus. I do the missions from work so I can't justify that kind of time. I could do it at home, of course, but when I get home the last thing i want to do is look at a computer monitor for any reason. I was able to get it right today cuz the…
