interested to know if version 3.6 of NTA can solve my original post....we would like to report on business day netflow traffic. i haven't figured out how to modify one of the historical netflow reports to send me the top users from the prior during certain hours.....any advice? thanks

WE ahve IIS logging enabled but is there a way to get that into Orion? if we can get it to event viewer we can do it that way but we ahven't been able to figure out how to do that.... thanks

Chris Basically we need to what external ip is using the bandwidth on a particular circuit that we have set up in NetFlow....but we need to be able to see it by hour and/or see a specific timeframe. A bonus feature would be to get a report automatically sent when a circuit reaches a threshold....inlcuded in the report…

i loaded SP 2 and still have the same issue....any thoughts?

unfortunately the ASA's don't create tunnel interfaces .....

Greg i don't see any error message with 9.2...it runs normally but no ip or DNS....with the hot fix it doesn't run at all.... i get a error pop up box that says Unexpected error; quitting

We ran that with the install (didn't have the credentials set up)...right now the problem is no matter what node we go to the node name under Last 5 Config Changes is always 'Support' and when you click on one of the configs there isn't anything there....

I was hoping this was available in version 10.....

i'm running 9.1...not sure where to check for the service pack info...

when you go to the alert under trigger condition you can change the Type of Proterty to Monitor to interface instead of node....

All sites have a cisco ASA 5510 i don't have access to any router. i'm sorry i don't understand how to add an interface to accomplish this.....

we are having problems with a virus that shows up in random places. our thought was to use the file existence monitor to find where they are going. our anti virus does catch them but when it quarantines the files it deletes the path.....

Yann we really aren't sure yet what we need to monitor....i was hoping to find a template for it already created....this is running on a unix box.....i assume the first step would be to load net-snmp?

i jsut installed 9.2 and the only problem i have is switch port mapper.....i even loaded the hotfix but it won't even run with the hotfix applied.....without the hotfix applied it gets vlan 1 information....nothing else....any help would be appreciated.

the issue is i don't know what the ip will be....i want to trigger on an ip from the outside that continues to try and get in.....like a port scan....so i won't know the ip address....if xx.xx.xx.xx gets denied say 10 times in a 1 minute alert me.... thanks

when i try to run the report i get Invalid List of Fields...i'm not sure what to put in the list. I need the domain names but i can find that option.... thanks

the issue is being able to show management that the an email alert went to a certain tech on this date and this time. if a tech says they didn't get an alert i want to be able to run this report and show that the system sent one and the notification was successful.....on our old monitoring system we had too many occasions…

Thanks for the information...that did give it to me....is there any way to turn this into a report? is there a guide somewhere that could explain how to do write a sql query for it?
