  • My WSUS GPO is configured to download and install nightly at 1am... Should I try something else. The sticky point here is that these machines are point-of-sale machines, so getting a hold of them during the day can be challenging.

  • I am not so sure that the WMI provider did download and install? Shouldn't I see something like C:\Program Files\Solarwinds? I don't see that.   • Yes - I saw this in the documentation. My problem is - I would like to avoid opening TCP ports 1024-65536 in my firewall if I can help it. I thought that the agent took care of this and communicated on its own dedicated port. -sb
