I agree, I have circumstances where I have devices that are used in both Test and Stage environments as well as the previously mentioned multiple application roles. It would be very helpful to capture/store these multiple values in a single field; perhaps defined as check box list(check more than one) fashion.

It's a bug; I opened a ticket with support. No workaround, fix will be in next update/release.

UPDATE: It's a bug; and no workaround till next update/release SolarWinds Support: “I was reviewing the logs and case, this is a bug, there were changes to the tables and the data store is in UTC. There is currently no workaround, but the fix will be in the next release. I will put the case on hold and update the case once…

After upgrading to 2023.1 I'm also seeing a massive discrepancy in Event Time and actual time of the event. Yes, I already posted them, including the custom icons.
-
Here are the Visio files used in my NOC views; also other custom icons I've created (including those used in the AD/Infrastructure views)
-
Here are the icons I made, both flat and isometric versions
-
That was the first thing I looked at; but if that was the issue everyone in the group would have the same issue, it's only affecting one user in the group.
-
Yes... and no. I created the custom status icons myself in Adobe Illustrator. Created the backgrounds in Visio; and put it all together in Network Atlas.
-
Most of my Visio created 'background' images are between 180KB and 450KB; remember it's exported as a JPG.
-
Templates in what sense? I use Visio to make most of what you see, then I created the SolarWinds status icons from scratch. I would be glad to share anything that I've done. Outside of the current events page all are full screen images of 1870x886; this appears to be the sweet-spot so you don't get scroll bars when…

I'm still good this morning; all morning reports look normal now. Hope it heads your way as well.
-
No, no mac. Again nothing changed, from one day to the next the report emails from SolarWinds started being treated differently. I know why its happening(HTML content order related); but why now after 10+ years.
-
I posted them in a similar thread/topic on page 15 Show us a NOC view and get 500 thwack points! I'll just post them here to make it easier. For the Visio docs, due to the print based margins the Visio export function adds to the images I have to output the images at 1900x950, then crop the images in Gimp to 1870x886 to…

No solution. Right now I would blame changes with Microsoft and Exchange/Office 365. Nothing changed in my environment but we do use Exchange Online, so we are at the mercy of Microsoft and any changes they make in they way the handle/translate/interpret system generated emails. Online topics surrounding ATTXXXX.bin…

Doesn't answer the question "how is the 'Total' function/field is suppose to work from 'custom poller history'." in the report writer. Explanations of the functions of the report writer, whether it be the web-based or the original is sorely lacking.
-
I have discovered a little more detail. This is affecting only one account. The settings are based on an AD group; others in the group do not have the issue only the one account. All other accounts see all the report-writer reports.

No changes other than removing contacts from the alert list. ADDITION INFORMATION: This works fine in email alerts(plain and HTML subject and body). It's no longer working for SMS/TEXT alerts, this is when the MACRO SQL ERROR occurs. This is the original message format/syntax, it's converting the quotes to character…

I agree 100%, the constant presence of the left nav bar is irritating especially on summary pages when 99% of the time all it has is 'Customize Page'. We don't need a entire left bar to hold one item. I don't appreciate losing horizontal real estate because devs couldn't find a place for it; Put it back where it was on the…

Here are a few of the NOC views I've built; we also use the Chrome plug-in called "Revolver - Tabs" to rotate tabs outside of the SolarWinds NOC views. i.e. local Traffic conditions.
-
And just like that it's fixed; no changes made and now no more attachments. Microsoft must have changed something with the Exchange/Office 365 Online outage. All my morning reports had attachments, the afternoon reports are back to normal.

I running into the same thing. I'm collecting the data via UDP; I can see the data changing(printed pages count increase). I'm trying to create a report on the number of pages between a given time frame. I don't understand how the "Total" function/field is suppose to work from 'custom poller history'.
-
Thanks for you input guys; automagically the problem has resolved itself this morning; no changes were made... I know this because I'm the only one that makes changes. BIZARRE

The answer to your question 'might' be found in the answer here Monitor IBM x3650 with SAM

Flaw/Bug(known issue). Alert variables in the 'Windows Scheduled Tasks' Category are using UTC +- times. Workaround, use the variables from the 'Scheduled Task' Category to address the issue in alert/reporting.

I'm in the exact same boat. I've been considering the iterative upgrade process as well, but I've also been considering just a clean fresh install of the entire suite. My 11.5.3 has been though so many upgrades in the past 10 years that I might be willing to start clean, especially with all the newer OS version and SQL…
